Had a chance to stop by the other day and Genesis was very friendly and accommodating. They are open during this health crisis and, as long as the directives allow for us to drive-thru and pick up, I hope those passing by will be supportive and stop by to help them stay in business.
Cup on the slow jog/walk is more like it. But I know how I am in the morning do I can relate. They were out of breakfast burritos, but the ham and cheese croissant was alright. The ONE Barista working was super chill/cool. Sending out good vibes, definitely a good start to the day.
I really like this coffee shop but no matter which 7 workers they are literally so slow. I come once a week and wait 30 mins each time with 2 cars. It’s like whenever they hire only takes one order, competes, then the next. Had a girl I haven’t recognized today asked what I wanted then when I told proceeded to say let her finish the other cars drink.. if you work at a coffee shop you should be able to multi task and be able to take orders and still multi task not every car taking 10 mins to make one order. I am almost tempted to apply so I can assist because it is literally crazy. Got here at 3:55 with 1 car ahead of me it is now 4:10 and my drinks are just now getting made.
Great coffee and very committed staff. We were ordering coffee while Faira (the barista) got stung by a bee. Even though we told her to immediately go to hospital, she said "I am fine, let me just finish your order before I head out". Thank you Faira! Although you didn't have to finish our order, we appreciate you!
I pulled up with no car in front of me or at the other window. Barista was too busy playing on her cell phone to notice she had a customer. After A car pulled up at the opposite window with her still not noticing I honked my horn. The barista came and took my order and said she had to check to see if she had a flavor. Came back to the window told me yes they had it. Went to the opposite window greeted that Car and took their order. She went ahead and made that cars order instead of my drink. I left. If the owners of the stand would like to be able to know which barista so she can pay attention to her customers This was Thursday around 4 PM.
There is only one employee and they got my order wrong, but offered to fix it. So kind of slow- if just one person, but if two- it is much better and efficient.

Delicious coffee, plus the finest customer service I've encountered in Anchorage in a very long time. A must!

Love this place. The coffee is worth the wait. They can only do one order at depending who is working. Plan on a 5 -9 min wait per car.
