Loved it! My husband & I wanted to try a new place and we're so glad we did! Service was wonderful and friendly! Food was perfect! And the restaurant was very clean & comfortable! We'll be back soon!

Top marks for Service!! Our server was wonderful, attentive & happy. The food was incredible home cooking & the flavor outstanding! If we are ever in Quartzite again this is the place for us. 🤗

Food was great. My husband loves their cooked from scratch biscuits and gravy. I had a veggie omelet and didn't have any leftovers. We were hungru! Honor system to get a table. Friendly, small town atmosphere!

Cafe off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. The vegetable beef soup was homemade and tasty. My hubby enjoyed the patty melt with beer-battered onion rings. The star was the southwest sandwich (beefeater)! Delish!

The best sort of greasy small-town dinner. The foods not fancy and the coffee isn't great, but no one goes to a place like this expecting hipster coffee or healthy food. They do simple meals very well for cheap, with friendly servers & generous servings.

Very nice small Cafe. The food was good and our server was friendly and attentive. We didn't ask but it really seemed like a family run operation. It's not right off the highway but it wasn't hard to find. Good choice for a quick bite.

Mountain Quill is, in my opinion, one of the BEST places for really excellent good in Quartzsite. Sure, you could go to McDonald's, but why? Mcdonald's is MORE EXPENSIVE for a burger and fries than Mountain Quail and the food isn't nearly as good! This trip I had a Turkey melt on Sourdough with Onion Rings. You can't get either of those that are worth having anywhere else in town. The food was, as it always is, simply perfect!!! Hot Turkey, Bacon, Tomato, Cheese on toasted Sourdough bread? Oh my! And the Onion rings have this stunning beer batter crust that is SO HARD TO FIND. If you love onion rings, Mountain Quail is worth a visit for the option rings alone!

Off the beaten path, but so worth it. They use really fresh foods and have a cute gift shop too

Great food! However, as the only people of color, we definitely were treated differently. We were pressured to leave quickly and the host who sat us threw our menus on the table without even glancing at us but was super smiley and happy with the couple next to us. Very obvious we weren’t really welcome.
Edit to respond: My friend and I were there 2/6 at around 11:30. Helen sat us. She did not seem very friendly toward us but had a very nice conversation with the table next to us. Our waitress placed our ticket on the table when we were about half way done. About 5 minutes later she printed and placed another one right on top which made us feel as if she wanted us out. A nice couple across from us placed their money on the table and they were taken care of. We were asked to go to the counter to pay. My friend reached out his hand both to get his card back and the receipt and both times the lady went around and placed it on the counter instead.
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I hope no one has to feel that uncomfortable in your establishment again.

The food at this family owned diner is great. It was seat yourself tonight. The staff was fast and friendly. Food came out quickly and was very hot. We will definitely go back. I hear they have a great breakfast too.
