Flatbed Ford Cafe

We love the Flatbed Ford Cafe! We are fortunate to have a summer cabin in Flagstaff and with that we love to explore great breakfast places! One of the real gems we have found is the Flatbed Ford Cafe in Winslow. Eating here is as close to eating at my Grandfather's home, when I was a little kid, that I have experienced. Everything is made fresh, the portions will keep you satisfied, and the taste will have you come back again and again. There's always a special of the day, and "Hoppy" our woolly Siberian Husky loves the dog friendly patio! But wait there's more! After enjoying your amazing breakfast (they have great lunch items too), grab the kid(s), wife, dog, etc., and take a great walking tour of downtown Winslow. There's an old train to explore, parks, a totem pole, and little stores that will tempt you to visit. Winslow is a great laid-back town, so take the short hop from Flagstaff and enjoy your day, but be sure to start it off with an awesome meal at the Flatbed Ford Cafe.

So fresh and good! Not at all the usual greasy diner food you find in small towns. We got skillets with homemade fresh pork carnitas, fajita steak, and lots of fresh veggies. Delicious!

My husband and I were passing through on a roadtrip. Stopped at this little gem for breakfast. Pancakes were huge and fluffy. My husband got the biscuit and gravy. He said it was good. The homestyle potatoes were the BEST crunchy and seasoned. Chefs kiss! 🤌 Service was fast. We went right when they opened at 7. Definitely recommend!

The food was excellent and the service was great! My husband and I had the French Toast and it was DELICIOUS! Coffee was very good as well! If you are in Winslow stop by and enjoy this little gem of a restaurant!

This place was a gem!! Great atmosphere and our waitress was the best.. she was extremely helpful with the menu and local history.. the food was absolutely amazing. Mom had the tacos.. dad had the meatloaf and the hamburger for myself... it's an absolute must to eat here...

We had a fantastic short trip to AZ, hungry after hours driving we decided to stop to have breakfast in this famous local cafe. Well we walk in, we are not greeted. We wait a few minutes standing then we decide to take a seat. Place have 3 small table parties, one already eating and the other 2 waiting for food. The waitress walks by us 3/4 times without even acknowledge us. Eventually after 10 minutes she comes by with the menus cause she has no choice. Barely a salutation. Not going well. The place is pretty but service is terrible. I won’t come back again.
My pancakes came cold even though there weren’t any other customers waiting for food. My mom went to the bathroom and there was no TP or paper towel. My sister in law waited 10 min for TP when she had to use the restroom. Then I went and as you see in the pic I found 2 cockroaches on the floor. Bathrooms are by the kitchen. The 2 rolls of TP were added by my sister in law after she waited for them otherwise it would be no paper as it’s show Horrible.

WOW! This was the breakfast to end all breakfast. The food was delicious and plentiful, so you won't go away hungry. Service was quick and awesome, so if you come in hungry, you won't be for long.

Food was great ,service good but the waitress needs to find a shirt that fits ,running around with her belly sticking out is gross

We had a late breakfast and it was amazing!!! I had the Green chili Enchiladas with eggs. Oh man!! I cannot wait to go back!

Has an outstanding Eggs Benedict best I have had a cross the country 😋. Service was perfect had what I needed and was not intrusive. Definitely worth the stop for a bite to eat.
