Jantz Café & Bakery

Truly loved going Jantz, for my first time I liked it so much I came back the next day. I really love their coffee, the taste is great and the names are unique. The atmosphere of the cafe was really comfortable, clean, and welcoming. I highly recommend going to Jantz cafe.

At Jantz you are guaranteed a delicious meal! My daughter Hannah and I stopped in for lunch and enjoyed their turkey wrap and grilled cheese. We also had one of their specialty iced coffees and it was all so tasty! Can’t wait to come back!

Friendly and inviting staff. They make you feel as if you are at home and welcomed from the moment you walk in. The food is always delicious and served within a timely manner. The coffees are tasty and always served hot. If you are looking for a nice place to dine with friends and family this is a place to go. Also do not forget to get a slice of pie, even if it is to go! Their sweet treats are amazing and never disappoint.

Everything about Jantz Cafe was amazing. The staff were all so kind. The food came out timely and hot. The dessert options were endless!!! 🤯🤤😋

Add this restaurant to your bucket list ! Yes, it is that good. We love coming here for our Tuesday Mother-Daughter-Granddaughter lunch dates. It's the perfect place to relax, eat great food and reconnect. These small dates make us feel like we are on vacation in our small hometown. Shepherds pie and their chicken salad sandwich are two of our favorites. The vanilla latte and a piece of their Dutch apple pie are a great topping to the wonderful lunch. Oh and who can forget the butter horns , if you order a meal which doesn't come with butter horns it's worth placing a side order. You will not be disappointed ! BTW, excellent place to bring your babies !

My favorite dish is the cinnamon swirl French toast with Dutch honey. The French toast is always so fluffy and delicious. It pairs so well with the Dutch honey. To drink I had a hot caramel macchiato with light sugar/sweetness. The original version is a little sweet for me.

I have also tried their chocolate peanut butter pie, which is definitely my favorite. I’ve had so many of them, and I never get tired of how creamy and delicious they are. If you are a Reese’s lover, you will definitely love this pie.

I recommend it overall.

What a great discovery! It's wonderful to find such quality places in the Central Valley. Yummy homemade food and very sweet service, combined with really good prices and a nice setting. A bakery cafe coffee shop that serves food until 3:00 p.m., then their coffee bar is open until 5:00 p.m. Also nice that they do offer some outdoor seating. Great salads, good pies, and more. If you dine-in on a Wednesday and order a meal, you get a free piece of pie to go with it!

We went to Jantz on a Wednesday, pie day of course. We hadn’t been in awhile since we live 30 minutes away. Our lunch was great! We definitely are going to frequent Jantz more. We missed Jantz food and their fabulous desserts. Darn! Why didn’t I bring home a tray of lemon bars and some monster cookies? I guess we’ll just have to go back next week. Lol!

I love going to Janet’s Cafe & Bakery. You are always greeted with a friendly smile and a welcome greeting as soon as you walk through any door. The restaurant is very clean, homey and never loud. You are always able to hear the people in your own party and not others around you. The staff treats you like family, which makes your visit very enjoyable. The food here is very delicious. 😋

My wife discovered Jantz Café awhile back as a great place to get together with our daughter-in-law who lives in Modesto. It is a great place to meet in the middle as we live in Fresno. I've only been a couple of times but I love the place. The pies are downright amazing and the staff is among the best at any Cafe or coffee house. Kudos to the Jantz family! You've hit it out of the park!
