I'm a fan of good midsize coffee shops. Most of the time people are getting coffee from major chains, or one off shops that may not be available regionally, but you can get Philz across most of the Bay Area. That's a good thing. The locations are generally well placed, especially this one, and the atmosphere is comfortable. You should know how to specify how sweet you want your coffee before ordering, and then prepare for the coffee flavor overload that is Philz. It's a great Bay Area experience.

Was in the mood for some coffee and wasn't near my usual favorite spot in Oakland. So I googled a pour over coffee spot near me and this Phil's was about 0.7 miles from where I was located. When I arrived, there was plenty of parking. The inside is extremely spacious and the vibes are awesome. The music and the happy staff make it a pleasant place to experience. Another aspect that I enjoyed was the variety of coffee available and their ability to blend. Truly started my morning off right! 😁

I have been to this Philz coffee place a number of times and I've NEVER got the drink that i had requested in the first go. Each of the time they are out of whatever my first choice has been. Even the ones on their specials list. And i end up choosing something which is not great or interesting. So, i am yet to find out what's that i like in this place!!!

Yes sir, I always stop in at Philz when I am in Fremont. Great coffee and pastries. I normally do not tolerate flavor blended coffee beans, but the philtered soul hazelnut blend is a must try, I bought a bag to take home. Good stuff, highly recommended.

Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too crowded when I arrived but it got quite busy around 5pm. It was pretty warm in the store with a mask, so thankfully they have outside seatings. They source their pastries from Starter Bakery in Berkeley, pretty good. Glad they have beverages outside of coffee such as tea. If you enjoy lighter unique coffee, this will be your place.

What a splendid coffee shop for productivity! The coffee there tasted scrumptious and delicious and the environment and atmosphere around here shows inclusivity. Furthermore, I love the service here, though the coffee making process is slow, but you can monitor time until your coffee order arrives. Overall, I like the coffee shop here!

Nice coffee place. Can improve on the flavoring in their coffee. Took one flavored with Hazelnut and another with Caramel & Vanilla but they tasted very similar overall. There cookies are also good.

This really is a nice place just to study, chill, and enjoy good coffee. If you like your environments relatively quiet when studying, you may want to bring noise cancelling headphones as the music (as chill as it is) does run a bit loud and often contains lyrics. Overall nice place to study or just hang out catching up with friends.

So happy the New location is in Fremont. I love the outdoor seating and there’s plenty of parking. This location was easy to find and my coffee was fresh. I definitely will go back again. It does get quite busy during the weekday mornings and weekends! So plan accordingly! Be patient they take their time with a coffee.

Fun stop to get a dark chocolate mocha. I think it was Tasori Mocha? Either way. Delicious. But very, very sweet. I had to split into 4 portions. So my 1 cup lasted 4 days. And 1 iced out of the deal. There is plenty of seating. Mostly heads dugg into laptops. Outdoor seating with canopies. There's nothing wrong with Vitamin D, though. Prices are fair to moderate. Lots of sweets to decide your pallette choices. Creative bench seating waiting for your cup-o-joe with stickers strategically places from everything everything. Name plates of your barista and their favorites so you know whose making up your brew. I smelled fresh bean in the air. Guess what. They grind your bean on order. I loved this place when I worked in Palo Alot some moons ago. It retains that beauty now. In this day and age. Enjoy a brew here. And the environment of a Cafe.
