Barnhouse Napa Brews

Great snacks, delicious lattes and coffee drinks as well as a nice beer and Meade selection! Games and cozy fireplaces, Barnhouse takes coffee house and beer hall and combined it into one stop shop for everyone looking to have a relaxed but fun time. Also the supporters of the local Napa FC!

We stopped by for a quick coffee break and lunch today with two kids and had a great experience. The vibe was super laid back and friendly, the service was great, and the food/drinks were delicious! I had a pancake social latte, which was delicious and the food they had was sausage rolls and cheese pies - both of which were eaten very quickly by our table. There was also a friendly dog that belonged to the Barnhouse that my two year old loved. We will definitely be back!

Very cool atmosphere. Definitely what the area needed. Coffee and cider what a great set up. Board games. Darts. Just a nice place. And the co founders was a wild surprise.

Let me begin by mentioning that the atmosphere of the place is quite pleasant and cozy. However, I must say that the coffee quality is not up to par. Even though they use a medium roast, the espresso is under-extracted. Moreover, they use Kirkland Milk for the oat milk, which doesn't complement the coffee well and leaves an oily texture. Also, the price of $8 for a 16oz coffee seems unreasonable for the level of quality. Most of their pastries are Costco pastries, which is quite disappointing. I tried a cinnamon roll, which appeared to be the only non-Costco pastry available, but it was stale and dry. Finally, I enquired about the cold brew and was told that it was nitro, but it was not. Nitro cold brew and regular cold brew are two distinct things. Overall, it's a decent place to study, but not my go-to spot for food or coffee.

My boyfriend and I each did a coffee flight, which were great! A lot of great flavor combinations! The vibe was also great inside and a lot of people had dogs!

Their Napa Frap is a must try and a solid 5-star. Cappuccino is also amazing and they did a 8-ounce for us. Staff are so friendly as well.

Maybe it's better at night, but it doesn't really work during the day.

The ambience is hipster louge chic, which I actually really liked (and probably works great in the evening when it becomes a true pub), but the quality of service and product is still getting on it's feet, and it shows.

Both employees seemed high (had a hard time focusing and listening to customers) and weren't wearing masks. The coffee was burnt and extremely bitter, like sucking on a lemon. The barista asked if I wanted room after presenting me with the coffee, which probably should have been asked at rhe register. I also got a cornish pasty which was bland, tough, and underwhelming. Needed some herbs and spices, or even just some salt and pepper for sure.

I’m finally posting a review, and it’s long overdue. I LOVE this place. It’s the first coffee shop in Napa where I, as a local, can go on a Sunday, grab a drink, and just sit and read or write. There are couches, chairs, and tables, a fire place, and incredible staff. The coffee itself is fantastic- I’m not normally a coffee drinker, but here I can actually taste the difference in quality, and it is definitely superior to all the chain places. Don’t hesitate! Grab a drink here or to go, you won’t regret it.

For the highest rated coffee house I expected them to be able to make a proper latte or flat white - unfortunately they cant manage that!! The barista has clearly not received ANY training. The milk was not frothed at all just warmed up and poured into a mug.. together with even 3 shots of espresso all you could taste is slightly coffee flavoured milk. In summary Shocking.
