Pine Valley House Resort

Went off roading with my Hubby & Son drove up to highway 80 & found this awesome looking restaurant, to my surprise their menu carried pork belly bites they were the best! 😋 my son had this amazing burger my hubby a chicken salad. Very tasty food, nice lady & her son was the chef. We will be back there very soon.

A friend recommended this place to me on a morning I coincidentally had to be in Pine Valley for a work related reason. It must have been destiny!
The food here is incredible and I mean it. There are a ton of places that do breakfast and brunch and all that. But Pine Valley House Resort aka PVH do it amazingly well, all the while maintaining a small town homey vibe. The staff is very friendly, the dining room is very clean and I hear they have all kinds of events there.
My favorite part was obviously the food. Please you must check this place out!

Need to get out of the heat in AZ, So...we drove 2 hours to this little gem. The ambiance is great as a small town Cafe with soothing music in the background. The food choices were limited but very tasty. We got our food as ordered and pretty quick. The cobbler for desert was great too. Will be back when a get away is needed.

From the excellent service and rustic old California surroundings the Pine Valley House is a blast from the past. We’ve eaten there several times and I will say it’s the only sit down restaurant we’ve had the faith in to eat in during distancing and other current guidelines. The staff are diligent and friendly and the food is the ultimate in California comfort. We recently returned from a one month trip across 8 western states and were disappointed in every other smoked meat we tried when comparing to the ribs and brisket at the pine valley house. This place is a joy and it’s addicting.

I would like to start off by saying me and my boyfriend had excellent service and we were greeted very kindly by our waiter. We were there this past Saturday and he assisted us with great attitude the whole time!

Now let’s talk about the ribs!! Oh my lord the meat was falling off the bones! delicious! We’ve honestly never had ribs this good! We also had the bacon cheese baked potato! The Parmesan and garlic fries! The wings! The brussel sprouts! Oh and for happy hour we had the Lunaritas! Everything was amazing! We shared almost everything. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes a cozy feel restaurant with great food and great people! It’s also kept very clean!

Amazing food and excellent service in the historic saloon. We got to meet the owners. Restoration of this 100 year old building is still in progress. Can't wait to see the finished product.

We came in on a snowy day right after a very large party so we waited a couple minutes, but once the big party was settled everyone was very attentive and kind. Food was great, the fried chicken was delicious! And the kids portions were very generous. It was the perfect lunch spot for after some sledding in my Mt Laguna!

What a great meal for a very reasonable price. So much food I had to bring some home. It's worth the drive and Pine Valley is such a beautiful little town. Outside dinning or take out.

Normally I’m all about supporting local businesses. However, my wife worked for PVH for 2 years and they never paid her last check. Owner said multiple times that she would mail it, she never did. Then the owner and accountant ghosted her. Absolutely despicable, my wife was pregnant at the time too. Don’t support this business, employees beware, this is a 100% true story.

Are there yesterday. The hamburger was good. Loved the French fries. The waiter, he was really nice. Great place to eat
