Unique for Redding. Creative and delicious food. They are new and were out of some items we wanted. Service was good. Thank you Autumn: a great server! The view and outside dining is good. Will return.

Quick Summary
New Sheraton restaurant that is right next to the Sundial Bridge. Food was pretty good, but I assume the low rating is because of the very long wait (as they work out the kinks). They have plenty of games, people watching, and the Sundial Bridge to make your wait more bearable
Food- 4 stars
Blackberry beet salad- this was pretty good. Ingredients were fresh and tasted farm-to-table
Tacos pibil- pretty good as well. The meat was a bit dry, but balanced well with the pickled onions
Short Rib wrap- similar to the taco. Lots of flavor but the short rib was a bit dry. Having some extra aioli on the side really helped
Service- 3 stars
The servers were all very nice and accommodating. It just took a long time for food (the line moved pretty slowly) and about 25 minutes for our food to arrive. Although there's plenty of attractions to make the wait more bearable
Ambiance- 5 stars
Plenty of entertainment in this fast casual restaurant. They have cornhole, shuffleboard, a gift shop, checkers (haven't even mentioned the people watching and Sundial Bridge).
Bottom Line
Fast casual (almost cafe) style restaurant right next to the Sundial Bridge. I wouldn't go out of my way to try it, but it's a great spot for lunch or dinner due to its location and ambiance

About 25 of us ladies met at Branch House this evening. The food and drinks were excellent! I loved the outdoor patio ambiance, along with the heater and ceiling fan availability. The service was also great! You order at the counter, but we still had someone stopping by to check on us and they even did two little ice cream scoops so we could sing happy birthday to two of the ladies! We ended up staying from 5:30-8pm and could have easily stayed longer! This is right in front of the Turtle Bay entrance and front of the Sundial Bridge, so the only true downfall is how far the parking is from the entrance. However, there is a little roundabout you can drive and drop people off if need be. Not a huge deal (and it’s not super far), but something to note if you’re unaware of the area. Definitely check it out! It’s worth it!

If you're looking for a dining experience that combines delicious food, beautiful scenery, and impeccable service, look no further than Branch House Riverfront Bistro. This place is like a dream come true for foodies.
From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant. The decor is modern and elegant, with a touch of rustic charm. And the best part? The views of the river are absolutely breathtaking. It's like dining in a postcard.
The food is equally impressive. The menu is creative and diverse, with something for everyone.
But what really sets Branch House Riverfront Bistro apart is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make your experience truly special.
In short, Branch House Riverfront Bistro is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner, a special occasion, or just a night out with friends. The food is delicious, the views are spectacular, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend it.

What a pretty place and cool gift shop. I love the outside patio that welcomes dogs (since mine travel to competitions all over -- so dog-friendly is a must).
Can't wait until our travels take us back this way.

Hot new spot by the cool river. Have been twice, once for wine and snacks - pabill tacos were tasty. Second time, am coffee. BEST cappuccino in the world! (Or so it seemed in the moment - might have been skewed by Madison and Mariah witty banter and attentive service. Check it out!

Great coffee! Good place go watch the water or enjoy the outdoors while sipping some good drinks. Like to run around this area for recreational.

I was really looking forward to breakfast at this apparently upscale bistro. We were happy to discover this little place while charging our Tesla in Redding by Sundial Bridge. (Bridge very worth seeing!). We were the only ones in the line ordering at the moment. We ordered an Americano a mocha and two pastries. I asked for whipped cream on the mocha, and she said they didn’t have any. I asked if the pastries could be warmed, and she said yes. Since we had at least 20 minutes we ordered to stay but after 15 minutes our coffee and mocha still hadn’t arrived so I walked up to the counter And asked them to give us the order to go. finally someone walked over to get our pastries, apparently out of an oven and handed them to me in two envelopes, which were very awkward to hold onto along with the coffee that we now had to carry back to the car. The guy said oh did you want a bag for that And I said yes it would’ve been nice. Imagine when we left and discovered our pastries were completely cold. At six dollars a piece we were more than disappointed. The mocha was cold too. I couldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Sorry. Beautiful setting, one of the worst services I’ve ever seen at a coffee shop!

This remodel went with the business plan of "make as much money as possible of our captive audience". They made this place useless for locals. Super sorry to see this. Used to live visiting with the family. Now: overpriced food served in a basket a-la Weinerschnitzel, decent coffee ruined by an 12oz size and a 20 oz price, unfriendly service and a register that literally doesn't offer a "no tip" option. Wineries in Napa have nicer charcuterie boards, served on actual dishes, for less money than this place....
Update 5/13/23. Service continues to be painfully slow. Prices still sky high. However, service was pleasant and helpful. Definitely improved from "avoid-at-all-costs" from when they first opened. If you have it or town guests that don't mind spending extra money for the setting, and getting just OK food, then this place should be considered.

I’m honestly not sure why This place has good ratings other than it looks nice or people clearly don’t know quality in this town anymore. Ordered my kids a pbj meal for $9+ and got a uncrustables sandwich really??? Then I got the adult grilled cheese was horrible and my 5 year old could cook it better and then they were not buddy and just left out other people left out meals that should have been cleaned up for over and hour while we were there by our self. This place is not worth the money or time to go to.
