Stopped in to swim in the hot tub, and this was the closest coffee joint so I tried it, it’s very hard to find this place, it’s inside of this front door, then up the stairs
they had me write my order down on this little piece of paper😑, I paid eight dollars for two coffees, witch is obviously cheep 😊
Coffee, was 5 minutes to make 😊
Ok lobby vibes, but staff is slow and hard to communicate with, but we’re friendly when bringing me my drinks
I won’t be back unless everyone else in town is closed🫣
Cozy cafe. The staff seemed overwhelmed and it reflected on the food. I had waited almost an hour for a pastry order, and when I checked in the server told me it would take another 40 mins- she hadn’t put it in the oven yet, which was disappointing. Either she decided to serve all the people after us, or it was forgotten but either way was poor service. No Earl Grey tea. The “fruit bowl” was a choice of either an apple or orange. We went back the next day since it is complimentary with our hotel reservation, but I wouldn’t pay for food here otherwise.
The cafe is very cute and nice to sit with some coffee to read and relax. We didn’t try the coffee, just the pastries. It was ~10 minutes to order, though there were only two people in front of us. We ordered our pastries to go and waited 35 minutes for them to come out. They both were very dry and not a great flavor. I would not see us returning, unfortunately.
The staff was great! This is a little cafe inside the Riverside Inn. The breakfast sandwich was delicious 👌. The cinnamon roll was a hit. Three main dishes are homemade, the sides are basic and come from Costco. We used a room voucher and it came with plenty of food They did have a good variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, milk, juices, and english muffins for sides. The cinnamon rolls are huge and have plenty of gooey icing. We had a large party which led to a little wait, but that's what we expected. We can't wait to come back next year.
They have alternative milks for those who do not do dairy. They have an outdoor patio area for those of us that need a dog friendly cafe. I ordered a chai, and it is very good, doesn’t taste like it came from a box. There is free wifi, for those of us that need to work. And the hotel it sits in is also on the National registry for historic places. AND there are both tables and lounge couches , also plug ins! Overall pretty awesome place.
definitely one of the cutest cafes I've been to. I love the vintage vibes & the staff was very friendly. We ordered Orange & Apple Mimosas, which were fantastic, I should of tried the cranberry one too.
Their Lattes are fantastic. I order the Honey-Lavander, a flavor I get back home & theirs was even better!! Their breakfast is small portioned, but was the perfect amount of food & very affordable.
My friend & I talked about booking a room here in the future, based on our perfect morning experience. We are staying in a bnb outside of town & if we were to stay in town, I am sure here would be a top choice.
Not even worth free. Pastry was completely dry with one piece of sausage in it. Fruit was an orange (or apple) that wasn't ripe. Wait was long for just a pastry.
It is inside the Riversaide INN. There is no sign. Very light menu and small servings. $4 for a muffin or Danish that seem kid size. Pig in the blanket tasted like store bought. Not bad, but not over the top either.
The barista is amazing and sweet, the coffee is great, but the food and atmosphere leave a lot to be wanted. It was also very difficult to find, even with google's help. All in all it balances out to a straight meh. I feel bad for the girls who work here.
Stopped in for hot morning drinks.. they only offer whole milk for lattes which was disappointing, also it needed to be heated up once it was back to our Airbnb, which was 5 mins away.
