The Human Bean

We stopped here on our way through town for the first time! The baristas were super sweet and friendly and the coffee was tasty! I got an iced snowy mocha with marshmallow flavor added as the barista suggested and it turned out great! Wonderful way to start the day!

Very nice drive-thru coffee shop. If you want a dairy free alternative they have oat milk. They also have gift cards available if needed.

My wife and I were on a road trip driving from Florida to small town Illinois and were in desperate need of coffee. The Human Bean was a God send. First the staff (Jordan and Shelby) were incredibly nice (especially for being 5 in the morning) and helped us decide in what to get with it being our first time. Their Lattes and Cold Brew drinks are amazing and have a great coffee flavor. We also got a couple Bacon, Egg, and Ciabatta breakfast sandwiches that were also very tasty. We will definitely be stopping here on the way back home and every time we make this trip in the future.

I had high hopes for this stop this morning, but it was a little lack luster. The barista was friendly and took my order w a smile on her face. I asked if this was a franchise and she explained it is but stemming from the west coast & this was the first location in Illinois. We ordered 2 iced breves, and by the time I got to the car, all the ice in my cup was gone. I almost walked back to ask for more ice, but we needed to get going. The taste was nothing to be too excited about either, so that was a bummer, but it was more affordable than other coffee shops we've hit on this trip. Maybe other options taste better. My husband ordered an extra shot of espresso & wondered if they even added it. It was darker than mine, so we think it was just very weak in flavor. Disappointed but I hope they get better!

Awesome! Quick service and the food is amazing. The drinks are even better and they come with a chocolate covered espresso bean on the lid. Super cute. Super good value!

Great coffee place. Has a mix of drinks and even offer to cool down Kids drinks that might be hot so they can drink it(hot chocolate). Top-tier service in my eyes.

I live in a town where 2 interstates intersect with each other. For those of us who rely on these roads, it is congested with a lot. Down the road a little is this wonderful drive-through. I occasionally stop here. My town doesn't have a shortage of coffee shops and drive-throughs. Keep The Human Bean and the local spots. The rest, Dunkin and Starbucks, can leave town.
The staff at The Human Bean have always been friendly, kind, and make an amazing beverage. Check out their menu. The app is available. They have an amazing breakfast sandwich that is made from a jalapeño and cheese biscuit. Yes, that and a beverage of choice will set any morning commute on a great start.
Yes, yes, yes to The Human Bean! Dunkin and Starbucks can, respectively, go elsewhere.

We are making an effort to stop at local coffee shops and this place did not disappoint. It was a great experience. The staff was fantastic! The coffee drinks were great!!! We bought extra chocolate espresso beans and love them.

We stopped for a vanilla granita and found the jalapeño biscuit breakfast sandwich. It was honestly the BEST sandwich I have had! PERIOD

This place is AMAZING ! Highly recommend the 20 oz Strawberry Banana Smoothie with whip cream . Rewards program on app is great ! Customer service is fast and friendly !
