I've only been to Rich's once, and based on how packed the place was I'm sure they serve some great menu items. But the menu is quite large and the food we ordered wasn't anything special. My partner got the French toast, which was a bit bland. I had the Railroad omelette, which was likewise underwhelming, and at a $10 price point. American cheese, pork sausage, and onions isn't complex, but when the best part of the omelette is the chopped onions, that's a tough sell. I'd probably give it another shot, and the service was fine, but there's a lot to choose from on that menu and they aren't all winners.

First visit today & Won't be the last...
The portion size was LARGE but also tasty with a high quality for a budget price.
Reminded me of being in a small town house built dinner...
I got breakfast, the corned beef hash, eggs, toast, & a side of well done bacon. Hash was great! Could of been a lil more crisp for me but was great. The only thing I thought was slightly lacking was my hashbrowns were onionless (didn't even know I was getting them) or I'd of asked for onions to be added.
Eggs were poached nicely & barely any water left in serving bowl with eggs. ๐๐ฝ๐๐ฝ
My first 2 cups of coffee were pretty warm but not hot. Then my finale top off from a different waitress was HOT which I wasn't expecting. Just a heads up for other's.
My buddy got the beef manhattan that was HUGE & looked great!
He said it was surprisingly very nice as he found no fat & had good flavor.
I'll post pic's

We were greeted immediately on walking in and chose a table. The waitress took our orders and the food came to your table very fast!
The food itself was very tasty and was a nice quick breakfast diner.

Literally the ultimate old school authentic home dining experience. Food was amazing ๐ so was our server AND THE AFFORDABLE PRICING makes it even better. We had to stop here, definitely going to be a necessity every time I come into town. A true "mom and pops" vibe. Cannot wait to come back and visit

It's a place that you can go in and they know you. Very friendly, great service , the food is warm, plenty for your money, you will not leave hungry. I highly recommend the beef barley soup, which is a very great soup.

Country fried steak with gravy and some rye toast today at Rich's. The entire size of the country fried steak had a matching layer of potatoes under. It was way too much food, but solid flavors. I couldn't eat it all.

A great community gathering breakfast spot. Most people know one another. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The Mexican breakfast burrito was one of the best I've ever had. Made with chicken and not overpowered by jalapeรฑos.

Quintessential small town breakfast diner. Good service, good prices, big portions. There are very few items on the menu over $10. The only negative was that the mashes potatoes are boxed instant mashed potatoes and they were cold when they came out.

So anybody local would know that this has just gone under new ownership. It was closed for a little bit of time and has an entire new team. If you know Klem's Cafe on Wells Street, it has "The best breakfast in town", (TM). Rich's is now owned by the same company, so it is now "The best breakfast in town". And for those who don't know, they're to actually different towns. Both are currently using the same menu and the owner is currently working on bringing back some of the specialty items that were specific to this location. It is not uncommon that a transfer is not easy and sometimes very difficult but they are working their hardest to make sure that is the most comfortable transition for everybody who loves a good breakfast. All and all, it is a very good place for a wonderful breakfast with a small-town feel!

I'm giving Rich's 5 stars for a breakfast restaurant. You really can't get much better food at a reasonable cost, clean restaurant, very good service with a small town homey feel to the place.
My favorite breakfast here is the corned beef hash, that comes with 2 eggs perfectly cooked as specified over medium, crispy home fries, great coffee and toast for $7.50. Served hot and not lukewarm like other restaurants. Bravo!
