Always a pleasure to stop at the local bakery offering breakfast and lunch menu options. A cozy place to eat and catch up on work. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don’t miss my favorite bakery and coffee shop in the area.

Been coming here for a couple of years now.
Service is always quick and friendly.
Desert is always delicious, sandwiches are fresh and super tasty. If you’re in Lawrence, Wheatfields is a must:)

inside of the restaurant was very chic and modern. fair prices and both the cinnamon roll and breakfast burrito were pretty average. for me the homemade salsa was the best part. i would come back again

Good scramble egg sandwich ( add your own salt ) . Good coffee and cinnamon roll very good . ( Lady Bird was closed, so this was a decent backup on Monday).
My wife said that the chai tea was tasty but never really Hot .

Delicious breads and pastries from Wheatfields is one of the reasons I love living in Lawrence! They typically have vegetarian options for each meal and the staff is always kind. The croissant breakfast sandwich I had today was super yummy, flaky and satisfying...

Nothing fancy, bus your own table.
We came for breakfast just before 9am but the quiche and empanadas were not available until after 11am. Breakfast burrito and breakfast bowl were a good size.

We've been to Wheatfields Bakery a couple of times for breakfast/brunch food. The last time I had the breakfast bowl which is what you'd expect: potatoes, mushrooms, peppers, onions, some greens, optional bacon, and two eggs however you like them. It was tasty but didn't knock my socks off. My wife had the berries and cream French toast, and really liked it. The bread was sourdough and there was very little batter, which made it unusually crunchy for French toast. It held up well to the berries and maple syrup.
When you arrive, you order at the counter, take a number, and seat yourself. There really hasn't been enough seating for the customer volume the couple of times we've been there late on a Sunday morning. We ended up sitting at a long table with other diners to our left and right. I'd rather have a table or booth to myself.

my friends and i are addicted to this place. empanadas, quiches, salads, and the #6 are a must. great spot for good conversation and even better food.

Very crowded and the quich and latte are ok, not great. The sandwiches do appear to be good. The deco are very artsy.

Brought the family here for lunch on a Sunday. Line moved quickly and there were open tables. Staff was very friendly.
We ordered the French toast, turkey/cranberry sandwich, the Normandy chicken sandwich (special), and a couple of grilled cheeses.
The flavors were really good. Good portion sizes and the bread was delicious. Will be back to try their other offerings!
