Cafe on the Bay

Unquestionably, the best cafe in the area! I’m so happy that I finally was able to find this spot for some good coffee! You will find it all here - the ambiance, welcoming staff, cozy interior as well as a variety of good eats and coffee. A+++++

This small town gem is just wonderful. Owner Tammy is friendly and runs a smartly executed coffee shop in a small warm converted first floor. Now if you really want the full experience, they have two Airbnb rooms upstairs which include breakfast and a latte! Great little get away in this pretty little town. Nearby food, harbour and sunset views!

We stopped while visiting the museums in the area. It is a very clean coffee shop with friendly workers. My one critique is that all of their seating consists of high tops which is very challenging for those of us with limited mobility. I got a hot chocolate which was good and not overly sweet. The environment is welcoming and their bathrooms are clean.

Cute little cafe. I got the cheesesteak sub. I believe the steak part was extremely salty. Maybe it was just that piece of meat, I don't know. I didn't want to waste food so I did eat it. Maybe I'll try something else next time.

Unique coffees, perfect breakfast sandwiches, friendly staff. Great way to start the day. Indoor seating can be limited at crowded times.

Doesn't matter what time of day we go in, food is always great, coffee is always great and service is top notch. Perfect scenery and atmosphere.

After a very long night of travel up the Delaware and into the canal we docked at the public marina in Chesapeake City. While walking my dog we found you Cafe. After returning the dog back to the boat 6 of us arrived in the Cafe. We were hungry and weary. Your friendly smile, service and food were excellent. The breakfast sandwiches and wraps were delicious and the turkey club was one of the best.

Excellent service and the bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel was delicious!!! Also tried the tiramisu latte...that's a MUST have!!!

I rated this a 5 because the shop puts out some quality food for such a small place. Not a lot of seats, but on a nice day sitting out watching the boats come and go is a great way to spend some time.

What a hidden gem! We had Bacon Turkey Club sandwiches on wheat toast. They were perfect! Lots of turkey and crispy bacon with loads of cold crisp lettuce and a big slice of tomato (and the price was perfect too). We’ll be back!
