Café by Country Kitchen

Stopped here for a late breakfast while traveling. I think there was one waitress for the whole place, but she was doing pretty good considering. I was disappointed though that when I ordered water to drink I only got a tiny cup rather than an actual adult size glass. The food altogether was pretty good, except for that the avocado in my omelet was FAR from ripe and was super hard (I was even having trouble poking a fork into it). So unfortunately I had to fish all of it out of my omelet and just eat the rest. I wish they would have just said they were out of avocado instead and I would have ordered something else. The French toast was very good but it was served on a plate that had giant chip on one side and a smaller chip on the opposite side (see photos). Why would you even keep a plate with that much damage in your service rotation? I wouldn't serve a meal to a guest at my house on that, much less to a paying customer. The coffee and bathrooms also left something to be desired.

Love this place in the morning it a little busy. I travel out west for business and I love coming to the kitchen for breakfast. The coffee is hot and fresh, the food is delicious and the waitress Dana is always in a bright mood. Thanks y'all see you again next month.

Need better portions lacking amount of food for what you pay for. I'd love to give a 5 star over all but with the lack of amount of food I had to do a 1 star.

I don't believe I have had better hashbrowns at a sit down restaurant in my life!! Eggs Benedict were delicious too! Coffee is very good as well, over all I would send everybody here for an amazing breakfast! Server was very friendly and place is clean! Highly recommended! Also, this was my first time visiting this place!

Excellent experience! The food was delicious. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

The food wasn't very warm when I received it, the water I was drinking had black things floating on top and a white thing in the middle of my glass. I asked for crispy bacon and it wasn't done to my liking. Waitress was good but that's the only good part.

Excellent food, friendly service, prices ok. Highly recommendable. They should be open all day. Montana omelette was excellent.

Whenever I am in this place I notice one major issue. Where are all of the customers? The place one stays open for half of the day and the employees seem as unenthused as the atmosphere inside. Here is a bit of advice from someone who has lived in this town their whole life. Simplify your menu. Focus on a specific theme. Cater your menu to fit who the majority of your customers are and to what sells the most and simply get rid of the rest. Quit making the mistake that so many places make, trying to be the every restaurant. Everyone from customers to employees benefit from this.

Very busy, short staff. But who isn't these days. Overall was good. Would go back again
