What a unique and fun place. The space is small, but cozy, intimate. The owner is a lot of fun, very friendly and makes the experience feel unique. The hours are a bit odd now, given the owner's current run for mayor, but if you can find a time when a show is booked, it is definitely worth a visit.

Great spot while biking home from the farmers market. All vegan food options and as a non-vegan, absolutely loved the mini waffles. No iced coffee yet but it's coming. Fun decor and you find something new each time you look at the walls. Also does framing and so much beautiful artwork for sale.

Bill is a warm and friendly St. Paul native with a lovely space for grabbing a bite, music and his framing business. His art is beautiful and we loved chatting with him about things to do around town. This is a must-visit spot for St. Paul; thanks Bill!!

Definitely a unique place. Thought it was a consignment shop from the outside, which is what initially drew me in. The owner seemed friendly and chatty, and perhaps like he needed a few extra hands around to help out. Food could use some seasoning, I couldn’t stomach it (lots of refried beans and cheese in the burrito), but he’s just re-opening so it takes a minute to figure out recipes. Probably won’t visit again unless it’s busier.

Lovely cafe I stumbled upon today while walking in downtown Saint Paul, after running some errands. Artist coop, with performance space for musicians, and space for painting, eating, or drinking coffee. Had a nice conversation with the owner, Bill, about many things. He is very friendly and educated, and is an artist himself. The cafe has a relaxed, and comfortable vibe, with forest decor. I came in for a quick drink, and wound up staying for over an hour. I will definitely be back, and if you're looking for a new cafe, come check this place out. I'd recommend to anybody who likes coffee and good vibes!

What a hidden treasure!
I went in to have a cup of coffee and ended up staying hours. It has such incredibly artistically beautiful decor, all constructed lovingly by the hand of the owner, Bill Hosko, a true natural artist. It truly is like being in a little hidden woods. Whether you go in for coffee or to have breakfast or lunch, it has so much character and detail it is like eating in the northern woods, or even better still, it felt like I was eating inside a work of art, transported somehow to a Swiss chalet in the Alps. I don't know, but it's really cool, sincerely.
And get this. Live music. When I found myself there for lunch on Friday, Danielle, a local flutist, played for hours the sweetest music I have ever had the pleasure of listening & dining to.
I love this place and the people who work there. Lovingly created, vegan food, gentle for the soul. I can't wait to go back.
