Amazing breakfast biscuits and gravy were home made. Hashbrowns are fresh and portions large. Great wait staff and nice small town environment. We will definitely be back.

General cleanliness of the restaurant was lacking. Salt and pepper shakers hadn't been clean, and we were given an empty sugar container for tea. Was pretty cluttered with Easter decorations that it felt more like a consignment shop instead of a restaurant.

My senior parents like the place, but I definitely was turned off by the cleanliness and decor choices.

We arrived expecting a nice American cafe, but it was so much more than that. The breakfast gravy had the perfect amount of sausagy nuggets in it. The fried pork tenderloin was sweet with a balanced savory black pepper tang. The over medium eggs were actually over medium!! That is a rarity with cafes. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and lofted.

The service was perfect. Our coffee was always warm. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. Lots of kitschy decor juxtaposed with quarter-sawn oak planking felt right for this place. It is located on a well-maintained town square. 80s music rounded out the feel.

I love their hamburgers. The rolls are fresh. The meat and bun ratio is perfect. In my opinion they have the best burgers in town. They have other things on the menu. That look and

It was a nice experience of the old American country restaurant that I remember as a kid! The waitresses soft and kind country hospitality melted my heart and made me feel right at home! The biscuits and gravy are worth it for sure on a beautiful Saturday morning 🌄 😋

I lived near St. Louis all my life, had many options for food. I had some good BBQ that ranked 5 star, but when my family tried this place, just wow! It's been years since I have had anything this good. Hand cut homemade fries, homemade pig skins, the burger was super tasty, the fish was amazing too. They truely have a chef here or a cook who can cook like a chef.
The refills could be better, but hands down, probably one of the best places I have ever ate in my 42 years of living.
Friendly staff and nice seating area for families or groups.
If you are nearby, choose here to eat!

Really good food. I wish the fry portions were a little more but other than that, no complaints. Very good food. Waitresses worked together and all three stopped by to ask for refills. Yummy!
