Love the food. The fried tenderloins are the bomb. But get there early as they can run out.

THE BIGGEST AND BEST PORK TENDERLOIN SANDWICH YOU WILL EVER FIND!!
Just 90 minutes north of Kansas City, this family-friendly cafe has an excellent atmosphere and the best homestyle midwest cuisine around. The pork tenderloin sandwiches are hand-breaded and humongous.
While planning your visit, please note that the cafe isn't open on Mondays and it closes at 2pm all other days. Only cash or check are accepted, and unfortunately they do not serve Dr Pepper.

I always try to eat at places local places when I am road tripping. This place is clearly the local hot spot because we sat down and ordered just before a wave workingmen came in. My wife and I both had the BLT and it was fantastic sandwich.

Excellent home cooked food. tenderloins are huge and are delicious. Patty melt excellent. Laid back atmosphere. Loved it.

Even though they close at 2 and we got there at 2 they still let us come in for a late lunch. We each got the tenderloin and tator tots and it was fantastic.

So glad we found this little gem! Stopped on our way to Kansas City. The Texas toothpicks we’re a treat and catfish basket yummy! Homemade lemon meringue pie for dessert was a great end to our stop!

Delicious food and friendly service! We took a chance and we were not disappointed. The pork loin and chicken bacon ranch sandwiches were incredible. We also could have eaten more than one BLT! I just wish they were in Texas!!!

I'm sure it could've been good but hearing the waitress cussing out someone on the phone while she cleaned tables and then chatted in the kitchen area extensively while 2 of us waited for our drinks before our breakfast order proved to be too much for them to handle (they were not busy) I figured it probably wouldn't improve so we left and drove to eat elsewhere on our road trip from Houston to MN. Sorry but not sure how else to be honest with people looking for a real rating.
