Dark Stone Coffee

I love this place, it's become my go to coffee stop in the mornings. The staff knows my usual drink choice and are always welcoming. A perk other than the nice people and great drinks, buy 10 drinks and the next is free on literally lattes too ♡

My 6 year old and I came by because I won a gift card. The place is adorable. The service was fantastic and super knowledgeable. The menu explains exactly how to order for those with dietary needs. They also have a child friendly menu that is very comprehensive. Don't take it from me, but I highly recommend for you to go see for yourself!

Pretty good! Staff was charming, convenient stop, reasonable prices. Espresso was brewed well, had nice crema. Wish they weren't drive through only.

This morning we stopped by to enjoy a quick coffee drink. So many delicious flavor choices, including teas, mochas and different kinds of milks. Thank you, Eric and crew, for a delightful treat and friendly service. We will be back!

The #1 coffee place in the Universe 🌌. Could not live without it. Service is amazing. The menu is phenomenal and the quality is perfect! 10/10 would recommend!!

I heard of this place when I Googled "coffee near me" while I was in the Springfield area. Since I got rid of my car some time ago, I walked to the locale, unaware it was basically a tiny shack that only does drive through. But in spite of that, I waited in a small line of cars while I myself was the only one on foot. They're able to serve on both sides of the Shack, which is nice. Now, being a coffee aficionado myself, I know a thing or two about coffee, from steaming the milk properly, to proper grind size, proper extraction of espresso, etc... I also roast my own coffee when I'm home. The smells were what I'd expect from a coffee joint, delicious roast notes that fill the air with delight and remind me that waking up at 7am is indeed worth it if I can get my hands on some espresso.
I went rather plain Jane and ordered two regular lattes, one hot and one iced.
The hot latte was definitely the star. The steamed milk gave the subtle sweetness typical of a latte, while the espresso was smooth and had cocoa and nutty undertones. The espresso should not be sour, nor overly acidic, and I'm pleased to say that it was not, so I'd definitely vouch for the quality of the espresso and espresso based drinks this place offers.
The cold latte gets the job done, but cold espresso drinks inherently are more muted in their flavor profile, and as such, I ordered it only because I like something to sip on throughout the day. It was nothing spectacular, but that's not on them. It's just how espresso works when it's cold.
In any case, they're much better than Dunkin and also better than Starbucks, so if in the area, give em a visit. If you're a true lover of coffee. You won't regret it.

Had the lavender with almond milk, my lady had the heath bar with almond milk. Both were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend

Love Dark Stone so much! Currently the Macaroon is my favorite drink. Service is always outstanding— so nice to talk to and quick even when they have a line. Very reasonable prices. I always stop by when I’m on that side of town and will continue to do so!

When I get matcha I look for the most natural tasting and a good amount used and they hit it on the nail! Watch out for the instant caffeine rush!

My coffee was 7/10 and the service was 10/10 the young lady in the window was very kind and helpful!
