Yolo Cafe

My daughter wanted something with Bobas. I found Yolo Cafe online and figured we'd give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by our experience. I wasn't expecting such a cute little gem of a cafe nestled in the downtown Keene area. The inside is aestheticlly pleasing and smells like freshly baked sweets. There is both metered and non metered parking. The meters run Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. There is both in and outdoor seating. If you choose the outdoor seating you have the option of sitting facing Gilbo Ave or the back side of the cafe. Either option is great. They have a convenient walk up window to order from or you can go inside to order. The cafe is strictly deserts and drinks, no complaints here though. They have a variety of soft serve flavors, several flavors of frozen yogurt, ice cream and other sweets. Yolo Cafe is reasonably priced, clean, easily located, great parking and seating choices, the staff is very nice and it's dog friendly. I didn't mention the best part. They have adorable pup cup sundays. We brought our pups along and included the dog friendly dessert to our order. They loved it. They have a rewards program that apparently offers a discount with points earned. We ordered the strawberry lemonade with multi flavored bobas, raspberry frozen yogurt with a mix of toppings, including bobas and pup cups.The color changing spoons were a fun discovery. In my experience everything was great. I highly recommend making this the place you go to on those hot summer days to get your ice cream and boba fix or really any day at all.

Tried it twice just in case the first visit was a fluke and it was horrible both times. Ice cream was freezer burnt all the way through, which is extremely alarming. Staff are nice even though they don’t understand what a pup cup is.

Update: By looking at the reviews it seems they know what a pup cup is but played dumb so they wouldn’t have to do it. Very disappointed.

Nice place to hang out with friends. Free wifi is available. Best place for a birthday celebration. I liked the sitting arrangement. Next time you plan to go to cafe goes once here.

YOLO Cafe, is fun, spunky and delicious. We love their rewards system. Such a great treat for the family.

My daughter and I love Yolo, there is nothing else like it! Our favorites are the Nutella FroYo and the Fruitella Crepe.

Many many options for ice cream, fresh espresso, great service, very clean. Accessible from two streets. Soft seating in the back. They take cards, and the inside is just really funky. Loved it!

The ice cream at this place was very good. We enjoyed eating dinner. We found the frozen yogurt also to be very good. The staff was very very friendly and we're getting our our ice cream quickly. They're also was not any lines in the area. There's some good choices for ice cream in the Keene area, but I would definitely recommend this one as the food was very good. It should be noted that they had weird hours, so you might want to double check the hours before you actually make the Trek to this place.
