1/11/23 7 am Paid $15 for 4 empanadas and a bacon egg and cheese Empanadas cold as can be and rock hard Bacon egg and cheese was horrible it was wet and soggy worst part I asked several times for no ketchup it was confirmed then of course there was massive amounts of ketchup on my sandwich Horrible experience and a expensive lesson not to come back
Went in there and it seemed like a nice spot then seen they didn’t have any food out to serve, cold empanadas and just a poor selection of things to eat or drink for a “coffee shop”. Not sure if there was a sign in English that said no debt/credit cards or not but after the lady got my drink and empanadas that were nuke warm she says “no cash”. 1 chkn, 1 spinach empanada and a Nesquik drink came out to $20…Wouldn’t really recommend.
Friendly staff and terrific waitress with a smile. Don't let the exterior of the Coffee Shop fool you. They not only serve coffee, but offer a variety a delicious empanadas, authentic South American appetizers and entrees with rice and beans at a very good price. Good amount of spices with every bite. Restaurant is probably a more appropriate name when you go in after 6 pm for dinner.
The food was bland and terrible. I went for a “lunch special”. Only thing they had was under cooked white rice, and chicken stew which was basically chicken legs boiled in tomato purée. I asked if it at least comes with any sides, she throw a few pieces of boiled bananas. No flavor at all. When she rang me up, it came out to about $16. Felt like I got robbed. I guess it’s more of a special for them and not me.
good food nice people. music was just extremely loud and it made it difficult to order and speak to the waitress/cook. i would still return here though
