Texas Cafe

1st time going. Went with my son. We both got the fish fry and it was the best I have had in a very long time. It was amazing!! Didn't care for the meat sauce on the Texas hot, tasted like it hard cloves in it, but other than that we were very pleased. Service was amazing. Our waitress was so nice. And the atmosphere was very welcoming. And the place was very clean

My wife and I decided to come here after the pub across the street looked closed (it wasn't, but also looked pretty sketchy inside). It's outdated, invisible if you don't look for it, and why is there a place called "Texas cafe" in upstate NY? Who cares, the place is awesome. Ended up going there three times in three days and had three great meals with A+ service.

Just finished lunch here which as always was delicious. Walked and the smell of the restaurant food was so good took me a little bit to decide what I wanted. We always receive the best service here!

This is the best local restaurant place that is also a nice family diner in Hornell. It has a warm family atmosphere. Yes, if you're wondering, it does serve alcohol. But there are no disruptions, no worries for you to be had. This is the place you want to dine in with your family or alone. The staff is Wonderful and the dishes are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

Coffee is very hot and your cup is refilled often.

I had the Greek salad with chicken, it was so good. My daughter got an omelette and enjoyed it.

Prices a bit high but their prices are good for what you get. Is a normal small town diner so many choices hard to pick just one. Waitresses was extremely good, even made some suggestions for dessert.

I got the Rubin sandwich 🥪 the corned beef was so moist and tender 1000 island and sour kraut rye bread and the fat on the corned beef it was so succulent tender just melted in your mouth better than cotton candy I had fries and a Root beer but I came for the Rubin and I give it 5 golden shovels and recommend you give it a go you will not be disappointed 😊

This is THE diner in Hornell, in my opinion. Breakfast all day, reasonable prices, good food, friendly staff. I haven't found a thing NOT to love and most days they open early and close later in the evening!

Ours little spot in Hornell, my wife and myself we loved to be there specially weekends for those amazing Omelette for breakfast. The service and the environment is pretty well. Totally recommend it.

Always friendly and fast service. One of the few places remaining with very good service and reasonable prices. I've had breakfast and lunch here many times never a disappointment.
