Was great food! I typically don’t like fish but I loved their fish that I tried off my grandpas plate and will definitely be coming back again. Chicken tenders were delicious and our server was great.

This is a small town café. It gets 5 stars for a small town cafe. The food was good, we were there for take out. The egg, cheese, bacon sandwich, my wife had was very hearty for the price. Atmosphere is small town southern country, so be prepared for that. It’s not a restaurant, so don’t expect restaurant type food and service. When we were there, it was very clean, service was friendly and food well worth the price.

The food is good and the service is even better. My grandfather, Bill Dorsett, stops in for lunch several times a week. The staff treats him like a king; which makes his day. We enjoyed lunch there today. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, and butter beans & corn. Everything was great, including the hush puppies. Our waitress, Taylor, was phenomenal. She’s one of Paw Paw’s favorites. 💯

Scorched eggs and greasy hashbrowns. I have eaten here several times in the past for breakfast and lunch with great food. Today however my eggs and three friends were all scorched and brown. The hashbrowns were also extremely greasy. I am hoping the cook was just filling in for regular cook. We may try again next month.

I have been to this Cafe twice for breakfast. The service is very friendly, possibly a little overly friendly. Almost like they put on the :-) for the customers, but there's nothing wrong with that. The food has been very good, and extremely reasonably priced. Two adults can go in and have breakfast with coffee and orange juice for about 20 bucks. This place is not fancy it is old school country. But again nothing wrong with that. I would highly recommend you give them a try. They do have some peculiar hours of operation. I believe they close at 2:00 in the afternoon, I also believe breakfast is no longer served after 11:00. They do reopen on Friday evenings.

Old school, simple country cooking seems harder and harder to find these days. I don't get out to Hurdle Mills that often, but when I do, I make a point of stopping in. Crazy nice folks that have created a very welcoming atmosphere.

Love the Cafe! We normally call in pick up orders, but they're ready within 15 minutes. The food is some of the best you'll find!

Friday night seafood is the best all around...this is a down home cooking kinda place, the people work well with each other an have a good time while serving the customers...the only thing you ever wait for is a table...because there all full .😋, it only goes to 5 stars but it really is a 8 star kinda place...love it keep it up...

I had given this business 5 stars previously. However a recent visit here last Thursday changed my opinion. The waitress was very rude. Food wasn't as good. I know everyone has off days and that's fine. It just seemed the waitress was specifically rude to us and friendly to other patrons. I understand we aren't a familiar face since we don't live local. We did drive out of our way to eat there because our past experiences had been positive. We always leave a good tip and are very easy to please. She was rude as soon as she came to take our order. She acted like it was a bother and never checked on our table again. Thankfully a different waitress helped our table We will not visit here again. The blonde waitress definitely needs to treat your customers better. I will not recommend this place to anyone in the future.
