The Bean

Delicious mocha carefully crafted with espresso. The pastries were tempting. Had outdoor seating with water view lovely. Happy people getting their daily caffeine.

Cute little ice cream place! Also have an assortment of pastries, coffee and teas! Right next to the peire with a really nice view!

Love this little shop right across from the water. You can eat your ice cream on the porch and watch the activity on the water. It has a gorgeous view! The hand dipped ice cream was really good.

I have been there twice. The first time was 3 years ago. I ordered a chocolate malt. They ran out of malt right before making my order. I went last weekend and ordered a Chai shake. They ran out of vanilla ice cream right before making my order. My wife and kids love the place. Maybe I am bad luck...

The Bean seems to be the heart and soul of this town, especially since it's right across from the Town Dock. This is the place to be whether you're local or visiting, and the coffee is excellent! They have self serve brewed hot coffee, a number of specialty coffee and tea drinks, bagel sandwiches, and ice cream. Stopping in here is a must if you are visiting. The views of the dock from the porch are perfect!

The Bean is the best place to both begin and end a day. The morning coffee selection and prices work well. The evening has plenty of ice cream and cold drink options. This place truly respects the coffee. Unlike the big stores, the Bean even uses frozen coffee for ice cubes to prevent dilution.

I'd highly recommend stopping by.

Very nice small town cafe located right next to the town docks. Seems to be the local meeting spot to drink coffee drinks and catch up on the news. Everything you could want in a small local cafe.

We had an amazing experience at The Bean!! The young lady behind the counter was the only one on shift and when we walked in there were easily 10 other people also wanting a treat. She was so kind and even though I know it had to be stressful, she handled it with grace and knocked out all the specialty coffee drinks without breaking a sweat!! I ordered a super extra specialty coffee - iced latte with almond milk and sugar free salted caramel flavoring...and I am not kidding when I say this was the best iced latte I have had in about 17 years (I managed a coffee shop back then so obvs mine was the best ;) ). It was so good and the customer service was awesome. We will definitely go out of our way to return to The Bean!

Great place to hang out with the locals of this quaint town.

Update: also a perfect pit stop for those of us who rides especially on a 90° plus days of summer 🚲
