This is a very popular place and it is clear why. The food is fresh, the baked goods are very good, and the service is friendly and efficient. It was nice to see a varied group of people who genuinely seem to enjoy working together, and that affection and joy was reflected throughout the rest of the cafe. It was warm and comfortable, the grilled cheese I got was simply delicious, my husband's breakfast burrito was So. Good, and the coffee was solid. I wish I were a local, this would be my favorite haunt. I recommend sitting at the little bar along the front that looks out onto the street, perfect for watching all of the dogs walking about.

A very welcoming and friendly cafe. Fresh pastries made daily and gluten free bread (baked fresh each Sunday) available for their menu items and for purchase ($10.50 currently for a frozen, generous sized, sliced loaf)

All are welcome! I love their window sign:
We may all have come on different ships, but we're in the same boat!

If you'd like to get a seat during breakfast time, make sure you go early or be willing to wait. Although I didn't have to wait too long. Just kept an eye on the tables while I was in line to place my order. Great pastries. Nice, chill vibe. Coffee was great. Partial view of the ocean is a bonus!

Every time we are in Astoria or Seaside we go to the Blue Scorcher for breakfast. The vegan tempeh reuben is delicious. Also, their fresh baked breads and treats are amazing. We had a white bean rosemary soup this visit that was also delicious. Vegan and vegetarian items are clearly marked on the menu. Overall, it's a great experience every time!

Great spot for breakfast or treats. Came here for the vegan options. Service was great very helpful. The bread and baked goods were unreal.

Stopped for a white chocolate lavender latte but they were out. Hubs ordered a caramel latte — they came back to let us know they were out. Had the hazelnut which was delicious. Ample indoor seating. Stunning light fixture inside front door. Bakery breads looked so good but go to Astoria Coffee if you want Chocolate Croissants. Well just go there anyway. They have lovely choices and lots of latte flavors. Sidewalk seating is cozy too.

Bright, warm, friendly bakery and cafe to grab some fresh bread, coffee, or a bite to eat. Plenty of seating and big windows make it super comfortable for relaxing on a weekend morning or grabbing something quick to go. The savory croissant had a hint of mustard that was delicious!

I had the 16oz Chai latte and a pastry which were both very tasty! This is a great spot for a family bakery/cafe. It fits the home-like feel of Astoria.

Fantastic Astoria restaurant! Great breakfast and lunch options galore! Delicious fresh-baked breads and wonderful pastries-- even gluten-free options.
