Passing through Bend, OR and had to stop at Sparrow's Bakery to get one of their famous Ocean Rolls, which is a slightly sweet cardamon-spiced croissant bun. Enjoyed a hot Cardamon latte with it. Talk about heavenly!
Went at lunchtime and it was busy; there was a line but it moved quickly.
The staff was very helpful and friendly and even though the place was hopping, they were upbeat, positive and willing to go out of their way to make my visit a great experience.
Had the Monsieur Cocque ham and gruyere cheese hot sandwich and of course, bought some goodies to go! All was YUM.

Two words. OCEAN. ROLL. You ever take a bite of something and immediately look at it while nodding your head? Yeah, it's that kind of good. What a delicious treat - it's like a cinnamon roll, only better. They use Cardamom which is a spice I never heard of prior. You learn something new every day, and if you are like me, you try something new every day. 🤣

Nice vibes in here and I love that they have an express window outside to the right if you're in a hurry. I used it to get five to go. They weren't all for me though....... or were they?

Must try if you are in Bend. Period.

Beautiful dining room, friendly staff, and best food we had all weekend long. Gorgeous pastries! They were also super helpful when it came to allergies.

Delicious breakfast croissant, ocean roll, and more!! if you are traveling from out of town, make sure you go in for the full experience (the quick section is quick, but it mostly has prepackaged foods that looked nowhere near as good as the stuff in the full restaurant section).

The sparrow bakery is super popular in town and is very good. The baked goods are delicious, the banana bread is very popular, the customer service is excellent and lastly the food is really good. There is a decent amount of seating with the option of patio seating outside. I like that there are so many windows allowing you to thrive in the natural lighting.

Good coffee and great service. My husband had a bacon, egg and avocado sandwich and I had the morning bun. The breakfast sandwich was delicious. Wonderful breakfast spot.

What a lovely little bakery. We ordered the croque monsieur, almond croissant and coffee. I wish the croissant was warmed up, but it was still delicious. The interior is great with plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. There was a line when we went, but it moved very quickly. I will definitely be going back and trying more menu items. It would be a great place to work from or just hang.

I’m gonna be contrarian and not recommend the ocean roll. We loved the breakfast sandwich and the lox bagel. Croissant was terrific. Very nice atmosphere.

Pricey but delicious! We had the Ocean Roll, bagel with lox, coffee and a bloody Mary. Definitely a cool northwest vibe.

Even you wait out side for few minutes it is very well worth
it. One of the best bakery in town, if I was living in Bend I would have open a House account, top quality food and service, located in central Bend it is a place that you don't want to miss if you are traveling or stay for few days in this beautiful town.
Highly recommend.
Get there early.
