Lakeside Café is a quaint neighbourhood restaurant. I had their BLT, but was disappointed that it was rather cold and skimpy. I don't expect a large portion, but I would certainly like to taste the bacon and not have to send out "Search & Rescue" to find the lone tomato slice. 🍅
Also, The waitress was obviously working very hard to serve everyone, but was having trouble keeping up and returned much later to check on my meal or refill my coffee. Nevertheless, I found the staff very friendly and helpful.
Overall, I thought it was a nice little restaurant, and despite this experience, I would give it another try.

Very friendly people. Love the relaxing atmosphere. Been here 2 mornings in a row and will definitely be back. Great food too!

The waitress was extremely nice and apologetic about the hour and a half wait for food. We were very understanding as they only had one cook. We did wish they told us when ordering that it was going to take that long instead of apologizing when handing us to-go boxes.
The food itself just wasn't that good. If it was for food alone I'd probably give it just two stars but the waitress had a good attitude so I added another star.

It's a Cafe/diner so come with those expectations.
The food was good, I had the Johny Cash (?) burger which was so good. The onion rings were also very tasty. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and he said it was very good as well.
For diner food, it was very good and the service was good too. She forgot the ranch I asked for, but she was good, and she was busy and doing the best she could. Would definitely go back.
The food is priced appropriately for the area and type of food.

Crispy hashbrowns and huge omelet. Not at all greasy. Gluten-free option for toast. Really good coffee, too. Clean and very cute restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere. Will eat there again for sure.

This spot is superb food made by a top notch cook, and served by a sweet and attentive waitress. If you're camping nearby, you can call ahead to pick up making your time away from camp very short.
Inside is cute and very clean. The walls have lovely art and quotes with beachy decor intermingled.
Support this establishment on your hwy 101 journey! You will be blown away at the comfort food and country breakfast options.

I got the California omlet and it was huge , enough for 3 meals. It was delicious, and they did not skimp on the veggies. The waitress was hard working and very nice .

We waited 45 minutes for a burger. 2 tables of people walked out. We heard that the cook was working on takeout and we had to wait. We were ready to leave also. But it was good when we finally got served

Waited 15 minutes after being seated...no menu, no coffee, not a word. Walked up to the register to politely order and both the waitstaff just walked back and forth by me for a couple of minutes without saying a word.
Incompetent.
