The food was severed, Quick and Hot! Very Clean Atmosphere! Waitresses were busy but found the time to recheck our tables and keep your drinks filled! Great Tasting Food! Breakfast Menu is Over The Top! Sweet Potato Fries are to die for! The Yummiest with Maple Syrup that you add!

I cant say enough about this place. It use to be a popular trucker spot. Now its a great family experience. Food is good and service can get things messed up but never major things. They always fix things with a good attitude. Extremely pleasant. Recommend.

Very good food that comes quickly. 4 stars on atmosphere because it feels like a diner. Not that that's a bad thing. Just like restaurants better. Baked good are outstanding! Try the blueberry muffin!

We enjoyed the breakfast special. Cooked perfectly to order. Eggs, your way. I had perfect over easy eggs, sausage patties, hashbrowns and wheat toast. Delicious!

We had a huge to-go order (12 meals) right smack in the middle of a Sunday crazy church rush. We were joking about "what was going to be missed" at our house after we ordered. The answer - nothing....Nothing was missed and every meal was absolutely fantastic. 100% home run today Crouses - exceptional job well done!

2 words, BANANA BREAD. Turn that into French toast, yumo! This was our 1st visit, but, 5 stars for breakfast. Crouses make this spot that needed some love feel like an in town restaurant. Thanks for reviving this spot! I met my husband here 21 years ago!

Food is always hot and fresh the servings and portions are moneys worth hands down and the staff is super friendly and on top of things and the place always smells clean and fresh

I have to rant about the manager at Crouse’s Cafe in Shelocta. First let me say the waitresses were excellent - nothing was their fault. Kevin and I both got soup but asked for a taste to make sure it wasn’t too spicy. It was good and we both ordered the soup we had tasted. We were charged an extra dollar for the two soup spoons worth of sample. WHAT? Then I asked for the refill of my Pepsi to be in a to go cup because I didn’t want to waste it if I couldn’t finish the whole thing. The manager made the waitress charge me another $2.49 for my refill in the to go cup. TRIPLE WHAT? I was outraged to say the least. I was charged $4.98 for one drink and a refill. This is absolutely nothing but greed and of course we will never visit this place again.
