I know you’re reading my review, I know you’re out there. I’m sure you’re like me basically brainwashed as a young man or women that I need to drink the big brands like Maxwell House, Folgers 8 o’clock you know the smell you know the harsh taste you know you want something different. For years I’ve been searching for a small local coffee roaster that makes the most delicious amazing, aromatic coffee that you can buy.

In the search for greatness I found a company in BC by the name of kicking horse coffee, a medium sized coffee roaster that specialized in specialty blends and for a while the coffee was half decent, but very expensive, but I noticed some problems with their grind. I made phone calls to try to resolve my issues, and in the long run I just decided to move on that obviously me as a customer did not matter to them and they would be a lot better without me.

In this world of modernization, and Amazon, I stumbled upon Fresh Roasted Coffee in Sunberry Pennsylvania, a small town 120 miles from me in the state that I grew up in that was making a name for themselves, roosting the most amazing, aromatic, fresh and tasty coffee that your mind can only think about I initially ordered my first small bag of coffee on Amazon and I knew that there was something special about this coffee. But then I realized that their selection was much wider on their website and so I decided to cut the middleman out and order directly from Fresh Roasted Coffee.

Being a customer of Fresh Roasted Coffee was the best thing that I’ve done and continuing to order from them has been an amazing experience. You literally order what you want online on there very easy to use website and in a day or so, the coffee is fresh, roasted and put in a special bag, and that same day its shipped to you fresh and by the time you get your order, it’s only been about a day since they roasted it !! It don’t get any fresher !!!

Fresh, roasted coffee prides themselves in amazing coffee from all over the world that is absolutely aromatic, delicious and tasty, their customer service is great. I've been drinking Fresh Roasted Coffee for years. I appreciate their coffee variety, especially decafs, consistent high quality, great tasting coffee and reasonable prices. Their free shipping service is typically very fast.
Recently, I had a minor problem with an order. After login to my account, I used their message service to describe my problem. That message was answered within minutes and the problem was completely resolved within a few hours. Best customer service I've ever received from an e-commerce company.
Highly recommended.

I’ve ordered coffee and tea from this shop. very bad quality. I don't recommend buying. coffee is used cheap varieties of robusta, they do not have arabica. the coffee is overcooked like coal. their roast label doesn't mean anything, it's just marketing for a change. in any package there will be the same overcooked robusta that you can immediately throw away. the tea is also low grade, smells like dust and old boots, and is flavoured (labeled on the packaging), but no flavour in reality - only disgusting musty smell.

Sadly, I just found out today that if you are a coffee subscriber, like me, you cannot redeem reward points. Just letting folks know! Their Reward Points FAQs don’t mention a thing about that. A bit misleading on their part. I hope they add this info.

It would be great if your website and email wording included “we do not allow the stacking of Fresh Points on top of subscriptions…” just so people know. Good to be transparent! I’m in the process of trying to redeem my points for a “free mug.” So I will let everyone know how that goes. Meanwhile, I do love Fresh Roasted Coffee.

I did find out that if a regular coffee subscriber wants to redeem Fresh points for a “free” mug or “free” coffee, you must first purchase an extra item, above and beyond the coffee subscription. This is good info for those who are interested. Fresh Roasted, please include this info in your FAQs to be completely transparent.

Fresh Roasted Coffee is absolutely the very best roaster we have encountered, ever.

This is a ROAST-TO-ORDER business so we know exactly when our coffee will be roasted and it quickly comes right to our door. I place an order on Friday and like clockwork our coffees will be roasted and on the way to us on Monday. This is the freshest, best tasting coffee we've ever purchased. We buy whole bean and grind for daily pour-overs and lattes. Our taste preference is on light(er) roasts and we still have not tried them all, but are enjoying our taste journey thru the multiple choices. We have been FRC customers for over 2 years now.

I started a spreadsheet to document and rate every roaster and each bean we have tried over many years. Fresh Roasted Coffee has all the top entries based on freshness, taste, cost, availability and customer servce (incl delivery).

Give this roaster a chance, you will be happy you did.

Coffee is FRESH, flavor is spot on - full-rich and NOT bitter :) Absolutely love the coffee sachets - easy to tuck in your suitcase for great coffee while on the road!

High quality coffee fresh roasted on order, to produce a perfect, consistant cup. Enough choice to please anyone, I love the dark roast African and Mexican. Delivered super fast with real time updates on the order. Have not bought from a NYC roaster I dealt with for years, since I tried this roaster.

Although we had a hiccup. The management behind this brand is professional and courteous.
There was Significant degassing while brewing this coffee and flavor was bold and more so along a dark roast rather than a light roast.
For someone with a with a less discerning palate such as mine. This would be the perfect brew.
I donated 3 pounds of this coffee to a local food pantry and received High praise from the management the next time I returned to drop off additional goods and foods.

Beautiful coffee roasters and seller. They roast the coffee, package them, even make their own K-cups. The coffee is surprisingly reasonably priced. I ended up buying 3 bags of coffee just because it smelled so good!

I would highly recommend this place. They sell tea as well, not to mention all sorts of coffee and tea brewing equipment!

Update Feb 2022: They will be moving to a new location in Sunbury at the end of March. The new location will be posted on their website.

I am recently buying a lot of coffee beans from different companies. You guys are my next one. I just ordered the coffee bean thru Amazon from your company.

I did not receive the beans yet. But I am doing some testing soon.

Here is what I am going to test

1) how many defect beans per 10oz
2) how fresh of the bean ( I can see it during brewing)
3) taste

I spent so much money for the beans in these 2-3 months. I am still not able to find a good one. Most of the issue is the freshness. I hope this is my last stop.

I will rate again after I test it

2/11. I got the coffee on 2/9 and I expected them roasted on 2/1/2021 since the exp date is 2/1/2022

The coffee bean is very fresh.
However, the taste is not really that I expected. This is Colombian coffee. I don’t expect this acid level. However, this is what I bought for this price
