Great coffee, great staff, great atmosphere, great variety on the menu. I've gone to their riverside location many times and this new one is really exceptional even compared to the previous store. It's a bit tucked away and Google maps doesn't really help you out much to find it but it's definitely worth visiting.

A great place to get some coffee and study! Ample amount of space and various types of chairs and tables to accommodate! Had the “iced chai latte” and it was solid! Friend got the “flight of three” and loved it!

Coffee not too bad. Performance at the cafe was pretty nice. Coffee was just aight. Honestly feel like the reviews might be skewed on this one.

Excellent drinks and even better service. We had a cappuccino, a chai and a spicy chai financier. All were tasty. The prices are reasonable. The ambiance was lovely. Will absolutely return.

The vibe in here is relaxed and feels like a safe space for my 30 something discomfort from the “youth.” The location is industrial with a modern polish. Coffees (cortado and a latte) were excellent. Smooth and rich, deep flavor without bitterness. The avocado toast was fantastic with pickled radishes and microgreens. The overall experience would have been capstones by the skilled staff - unfortunately we must have hit an off day. The baristas were fairly short with us, may have been the day. Either way we hope to get back to catch folks on a better day.

Just have gone for the coffee so far, but that has always been a delight. I'm not a huge coffee fan, it's moreso my partner, but even still I've had nothing but amazing beverages here. The atmosphere is nice and moody as well, so it's a good place to work for a bit with a latte. The staff can be a bit rude when it gets busy, however that's forgivable since they are serving some far ruder customers from what I've seen. Highly recommend this place overall though, especially if you're a coffee lover!

So the first thing we do when we come to an area as we travel (though we decided to put roots down here now and stop this traveling thing) is find the local coffee shop…. Forget those big global firms… local shops… always. Borealis was our first try in the area, and they immediately became our go to. The look and feel of the property starts off so good (I love that converted mill look) and the coffee was amazing. The breakfast sando on the cheddar biscuit… so good! I have a kiddo with a gluten allergy, and the gluten free choices to snack on for breakfast are always a hit.
The staff are amazing as well… always bright and cheery…. And oh so good at what they do

We’ve been looking all over for the best black coffee and here is the current winner. It was a lovely happenstance coming in at night to find a live band playing and delicious drinks to be had. It’s open pretty late which is really refreshing. We will definitely be returning.

Got the honey rose iced latte, so good! Not too sweet. I love the vibe there. Nice open space and nicely decorated.

Borealis Coffee offers the best beans I've found thus far in the area, and this particular location is extra spacious and has more food options than the one in Riverside. Overall, just thankful for the great coffee!
