Project Donuts + Coffee Bar

Finally got to visit Project Donuts…is this a donut or pastry shop??? As you can see from the pictures, they are pretty incredible looking and decadent bits of artwork on a donut canvas. The first one I tried was the Spiced Apple Pie…OMG it was incredible!!! This had all of the wonderful flavors of Fall and tasted like a pie without the crust. The donut part was light and airy but held up all of the toppings and allowed you to eat this one without a fork. When my daughter and grandchildren came over to sample the rest of the collection everything was delicious! The raspberry filled is probably the best filled donut I’ve ever tasted and the sprinkle donuts did not have a long lifespan…LOL What was impressive is the donuts were not overly sweet, but you will get your RDA of sugar plus! They even have a case of Gluten Free donuts.

My box of nine donuts was a bit more than you would pay for “standard” donuts elsewhere, but these are well worth the price. I asked Isaac how business was going and he told me the donut side was doing great, and they are working on getting the coffee side of the business stronger. Service was great and the styles and options of donuts available was vast…and DELICIOUS!

Oh my!! Blessings to The Most High. The Butter Pecan donut was amazing. I couldn't even get out the parking lot. I had to sit and eat it right there. The Maple Bacon was amazing as well.

Great texture, flavor is amazing. I was a little worried that the donuts would be super sweet and make my teeth hurt but they had just the right amount of sweetness in all the indulgence that I was looking for.

Great service and it wasn't crowded (9am ish)

I also got a Carmel Latte which was perfect on a cool day. This was the perfect way to start my Monday.

They also have gluten free options!

Really enjoyed the selection of donuts here. Good mix of classic types and fancier versions if you’re into more flavors and Instagram worthy food pictures. Coffee was nice too and I have no issue going elsewhere to use the bathroom because I’m an adult.

They had just run out of Nutella donuts, which my daughter wanted. They made one just for her! Very kind staff & great quality donuts! They were quick and efficient, clean place, excellent variety- my daughter could only eat the one Nutella- very filling! I tried the lemon filled which was SO GOOD, and we also have the cinnamon roll, a strawberry cream cheese flavor, and my son wanted glazed which he said was excellent. Highly recommend.

Very friendly service and many variety to choose from, however, I think prices should be lower because for 1/2 dozen and eclair I spent $20. I know they’re gourmet, but maybe a deal if you get a dozen or half dozen. Overall fantastic flavor and perfect donut.

Absolutely love Project Donuts! I've visited both locations and haven't had a donut I didn't enjoy. The salted caramel donut is my favorite, I could eat it every day it's just perfection. So excited to see what you guys roll out for 2023!

Hands down sweetest people. & THE FRESHEST DONUTS! Everyone always asks me where they come from. Way to go PROJECT DONUTS! Super yummy.

The donuts here are amazing! By far our favorite donut place in Murfreesboro. The service here is very good. It's a bit of a smaller shop so the line can easily be to the door but they get you through the line quickly in our experience. My husband really enjoys the maple bacon donut and I cannot resist getting the toasted butter pecan whenever we stop by. They also have the stellar Moscato until the end of January 2023 which was amazing get it while you can. The alcohol isn't strong but the raspberry cream is so good. Also have to mention the lattes and mochas. The smores latte was so good. A nice balance of coffee flavor to the smores syrup. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Friendly, smiling faces greeted us and the donuts we tried were absolutely incredible!
We got the salted caramel, lemon butter, and chocolate eclair and loved them all. The coffee also smelled amazing and I can’t wait to come back and try it! Way to go, Project Donuts + Coffee Bar! 🙌

This is a must try!!! Yes, their donuts may cost a little more than others. However, in this instance you are getting what you pay for. Project Donuts are big and pack lots of flavor. Try this place out the next time you are looking to satisfy your sweet tooth with some AMAZING donuts!!!!
