Ruby Lee's Cafe

This place is small looking on the outside but has 7 tables. If you are over 6 feet tall, watch you head, the ceiling is low. All of the staff are very kind people the way they tend to you here feels like a family reunion where family is just helping family. The menu covers comfort food chicken fried steak, chicken fingers, biscuits and gravy, fresh coffee, pancakes, hashbrowns, hot links, and pork chops. The back menu has taco options. The meal was cooked perfectly. The prices were more than fair and reasonable for the value and flavors. I would recommend this place over any other local place in the area that I have visited.

Absolutely adore this place!! It’s small, homey, and definitely gives off the small town vibe it’s set in. The owner is the best and she’s an amazing cook. The food is fresh and tasty. Great place for breakfast or lunch!!

Old fashioned three and meat. Absolutely nothing fancy and that's what's great about it. Good old fashioned stick to your ribs country eating. You cannot go wrong.

Food was was down home good cooking ,good food. Went through Mexia ask for a good mom and pop type place. They sent us there. And boy am I glad,so friendly we laughed. One table talks to another. Every one in there had been comming there for 15 /20 years. Hope I get to go back that way again
