Lamppost Coffee

Nice little spot with a very chill atmosphere. It was very clean with plenty of parking. I was in town for business, craving Coffee and lucky for me, this was the place Google pulled up. The Coffee was good and the spot itself was only 6 min from my hotel. Next time I'm in San Marcos I'll definitely swing through again. As for the 3☆, I didn't try anything to eat so I'm just trying to be honest. Everything looked really good so I'll be editing that after my next visit...lol

This coffee shop is the perfect spot to enjoy a delicious cappuccino or latte. I absolutely loved the interior of this place. They have the comfortable sofas and shelf stocked with board games. Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work or a fun place to hang out, this coffee shop has got you covered.

Went with a buddy of mine for my very First time, definitely one of if not the best coffee shops I've been to.
The coffee is very delicious, the atmosphere is not too flashy and as a College student, its definitely a place where I can study in peace. No loud music like other shops which was my biggest gripe of them.
The baristas are very polite as well.

This place just fits for me. Sucks that it's one of the few good shops out there and sadly I live in San Antonio but definitely stopping by every time I come to San Marcos with my friend again.

Have started to become a regular here for good reason. Delicious coffee, very clean and comfortable vibes. Love the small changes they added to the inside (book shelf) and more lounging area. Staff is incredibly nice! Thank you Hannah and all other staff members!

My favorite coffee shop! It tends to be quiet and easy to focus there, while still being a fun and enjoyable environment. The coffee is the best that I’ve gotten around here. I especially love their lamba latte and cappuccinos.

It's crazy that a place can sell such an amazing, carefully crafted product (superb coffee from straight espresso to delicious sweet treats) and that's not even the best thing about it. This is the closest thing to a real life Cheers that I have experienced in my life. Customers are frequently greeted by name, regular drinks prepared before they are ordered, follow-up questions asked from last week's visit. Hannah, Christian, Ashlyn, Lily, Zuzu, and Emma all embody, not only a spirit of excellence, but a spirit of loving hospitality, serving spectacular coffee, and making San Marcos a little bit brighter.

This is a fantastic little corner coffee shop. If you have a sweet tooth, try the Lamba Latte. They also do good pour overs.

Great coffee! Very clean and nice little coffee shop. The baristas are friendly and professional.

Their blender didn't work at the time that I went, but the drink I chose did not disappoint. They also have a side window for any quick on-the-go treats. Another small establishment I would definitely return to for my caffeine fix!

One of our favorite spots in San Marcos for coffee. The nitro cold brew is really good and the breakfast options are super good as well. We enjoyed sitting outside when the weather is nice
