Delicious breakfast! I had the Farmer's Skillet with the breakfast potatos on the side, wow was it delectable! The poached eggs were perfect, the beef short rib was tender, the cheese was pully and tasty and all served in a cast iron skillet. The breakfast potatos were also good.
I tried the choice of 3 from the bakery, I chose the blueberry lemon scone, home made maple cinnamon roll and the pan au choclate. The blueberry lemon scone was pretty good, you can really taste the lemon in it which tends to be lacking from others I've tried. The maple cinnamon roll was okay but I didn't taste and maple and the cinnamon was lacking, I think it could use more flavor to it. I didn't love the pan au chocolate as it was over cooked and a bit burnt, but could be great if it's cooked a little less.
Overall I really enjoyed the breakfast farmers skillet, my waitress was very polite and the environment is beautiful and has plenty of seating.
Good high quality food. I had a salad with shrimp, fresh greens and homemade Bleu cheese dressing. My wife had pesto chicken sandwich. We added a carafe of the most delicious coffee and were well satisfied with the meal. Our server was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Visited Jackson River Cafe for breakfast last month and really enjoyed what we had. Staff super friendly, atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy. Would definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.
So glad I stopped in for lunch. The café has a cute atmosphere. Our server was excellent. He was attentive without making us feel crowded, wish I could remember his name. And most importantly - the food was perfection!
Despite the quaint environment, it was overpriced for the food quality. Taco salad was too goopy. The Thai shrimp wrap was mostly iceberg lettuce and one piece of shrimp shared between the two halves. Also could not find the red onion, cucumbers or peppers. Fries were very fast food quality and over salted. I could not recommend.
One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to! I was so happy to find such a good restaurant in this remote town! The food is fresh, absolutely delicious. Staff is welcoming and gracious, the interior is amazingly done, gorgeous decor and ambiance, even the tables are perfect. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is a treasure.
Fresh, delicious quiche! Best cappuccino I’ve had…(thank you, Matthew!) Welcome addition to Hot Springs downtown & great place to share with family and friends!!!
