The service was great, but the drinks were awful. The mocha we ordered was poorly filtered and filled with coffee grinds. The food was okay at best and wasn't worth how it was priced. It seemed like a nice place to have tea and work on homework and that's about it. We spent $42.
EDIT: Thank you to the owners for offering the refund, but it is not necessary. To answer your question: the drinks made it hard to enjoy the meal at all, so that could have been a factor.

This place is totally worth it as a destination brunch. It's right near the red cedar bike trail. Wonderful food and a variety of coffee drinks. There's a limited alcohol selection but it's not really the focus. The interior is rustic and relaxing. Highly recommend.

This place is darling. Had the chicken salad sandwich on cranberry bread and it was delicious. Their mocha drinks are yummy too. Can't wait to try everything on the menu. Walked out with a cute handmaid crochet bunny for Easter. They have some nice items for gifting.

A charming cafe worth the drive! Nutella cold foam. Enough said! I’d go again just for that! I seriously wanted to try it all! The food, atmosphere and charm were just what I love about places like Scatterbrain!

Beautiful, rustic cafe with delicious coffee and food. Unique dishes are just one of the charming and quaint parts of this friendly, comforting establishment.

The food is delicious... I couldn't enjoy the bread because I am gluten free but they did have a gluten free bread that they toasted on a pan or flat top to spice it up. I imagine it is not a celiac friendly place because of the fresh breads but if you have an intolerance or sensitivity, there are several options for both breakfast and lunch. I have been here twice now and would highly recommend.... A bit of a surprise to have such a gem in such a tiny town!

Beautiful little Cafe tucked into a quaint town. The staff is SO friendly, the coffee is AMAZING, and the food has never let me down. On top of that, the Cafe is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable atmosphere.

The specialty coffee drinks are fun, but I always order mine half sweet because they are a LOT. The atmosphere is so sunny and I love the vibe and minimalist decor. A great place to grab coffee with a friend.

Trendy place for hipsters/college kids. Bring money. Bring your own chair too, if you don't want to sit on something ridiculous. The building is neat, historic bank vault to walk in. Good 🍨 ice cream. Don't count on getting silverware, service is haphazard. Smh Dunn county becoming California 👎. Yes most people will love the place I'll admit
