Was very happy with this local shop and a great new location with the house renovation! So glad that it was not scraped and Ross house was able to make such a great use of the space. A very friendly and helpful staff, delicious coffee clearly very well roasted and scrumptious food items as well! My favorite though is the wrap-around porch and all of the options for seating indoors is great! Just wish that they would require masking inside, because ya know, covid-19... only reason why four out of five stars– happy to change that if public health is taken into consideration. 👍

I used to like this place, but it is going downhills. One girl just stares at me once I walk in. When I ask for recommendations, apparently she doesn’t know the menu or make any suggestions. When she asks my name and I tell her, she says it 3 times, differently. I don’t know if she can’t hear clearly or does it on purpose. After 20 minutes, still no coffee or food. Really awkward experience. Prob won’t stop by again…

One of my favorite coffee shops in auburn! It’s definitely my favorite as far as the atmosphere goes! It’s such a great place to study or just catch up with friends. Its the perfect in between where you don’t feel like you have to be too quiet but you also don’t get easily distracted. The coffee/other drinks and snacks are good and they have a variety of options. My friends got a scone and a cinnamon roll and really enjoyed them! Plus, the employees are so friendly and extremely accommodating! Not to mention, they are super accommodating when it comes to customization of drinks (ex. using milk substitutes).

I should never have to wait over 40 minutes for a latte and cinnamon roll!!

Absolutely delightful staff and excellent food. Our group tried the cinnamon roll...best ever!!! We also had a couple scones among us, delicious and soft, not dried out at all. Solid menu and coffee is great too!

This is in regards to the location on Magnolia.
In the past month, I’ve come three times. Every time, the barista is moving pretty slow. There seems to be no energy in the attitudes of the baristas to complete orders in a timely manner. My drink typically ends up tasty, but the wait almost makes it not worth it.
Update: I have been here 30 minutes and still no latte :( however, people who have ordered five minutes ago received their order.

Unfortunately, the reviews about the wait times here are spot on. It took me 30 minutes, just standing and waiting, to get two lattes. I’ve never been in a coffee shop anywhere, ever, that took this long to make drinks. The people are really friendly (I guess this is a southern thing, but of course no one was wearing masks), but a wait time that long is just unacceptable. Oh and I’ll add— the two cops who came in got their drinks and giant bag of food immediately, so clearly they are capable of making a drink in less than 30 minutes.

My friend and I stopped during a road trip for some coffee. It was our first visit. We waited for over half an hour after placing our order. The staff were extremely unprofessional. They were talking and laughing and losing track of orders. We witnessed several customers served within minutes of ordering while we waited. We were extremely disappointed with this visit.

My husband and I tried out Ross House Coffee shop last Saturday afternoon - about 3-4pm. Looks like a great study spot or place to gather in small groups - lots of rooms and tables. We ordered 2 hot mochas, 1 with whip, 1 without. It took 20 minutes to receive an order. We were brought 2 iced coffees. Took another 10 minutes to receive the order again. My "mocha" did not have any chocolate in it. We also overhead other people receiving an incorrect order. I probably won't try them again. "Coffee Cat" and "Well Read" coffee shops seem to have it more together.

My favorite coffee shop in the world. Its super cozy and the perfect spot to study. Their drinks are made with love and perfection so be prepared to wait while they craft it
