Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art

Enjoyed a beautiful early fall nature hike here on a Tuesday in October. The indoor portion of the museum happens to be closed on Tuesdays, womp womp. The sculpture gardens were lovely however.

Great place for family, friends ! Seen a 2 day bridal shower ! So they do that!! Lol Loved they had wheelchairs to use! Which i needed cause i am a survivor of Ecmo Ards Covid 19 pneumonia 48 days on vent! So i am here enjoying what life offers!! Hey it is free!!! Why not!! God Bless all!!!

Really neat place. We spent several hours here and it didn't feel like it at all. There's something for everybody to appreciate, indoors and outdoors, and it's amazing that they allow people to walk up so closely to the art without barriers. Will absolutely visit again!

This museum is fabulous! Honestly, I could have gone daily for a week and still not seen everything. It is free to the public. The grounds are kid and pet friendly, shady and gorgeous. Frank Lloyd Wright’s Bachman-Wilson house is in the museum complex and the house exterior can be viewed at any time. For an inside visit, make a reservation and pay a small fee for an audio tour. It is well worth it.

I’ve been several times and have loved it each time. This trip was to see the Constitution and other artifacts. The staff is aways professional, friendly and helpful. The grounds and facility is immaculate in cleanliness. You won’t go wrong making this one of your stops when you are in NW Arkansas.

THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL. The short trails are perfect, seeing a bit of nature and a few pieces of art. We saw deer playing with one another on our walk back to the museum.

Had a very nice lunch at the cafe and toured the museum. I would recommend a guided tour if it’s available. There was so much to see inside the museum and lots to explore on the grounds that we didn’t get to. I gave 4 stars since all the construction takes away from the peaceful beautiful setting.

Amazing place!! Loved all exhibits, got there late afternoon on morhers day. I got to see all the indoor exhibits, did not get to see all outdoor exhibits but most defenetly will be back. This is a place you need some good walking shoes, and a full day to explore and enjoy, highly recommend.👍🥰

Something for everyone, whether there for educational reasons or just browsing for enjoyment, and all this is free. There was a small charge for The Listening Garden, but it was well worth it. I will definitely go again.

Love art and nature? If you are within 150 miles of this museum, then you owe it to yourself to go. Make a weekend out of it.

Their mission is “to welcome ALL in a setting that unites art and nature” and they do this in a number of ways, including free admission, generous programs for schools (which include not only paying for the bus but also substitute teachers if the teacher on the field trip needs class coverage).

The museum itself is a feat of architecture. On first impression, the building is magnificent, but learning that the parts of the building that stretch over the water are actually built as suspension bridges, the poetic and understated nature of the museum starts to become apparent.

Points of interest: the nature walk from the 21C Hotel to the Museum, the Frank Lloyd Wright Bachman home, the Infinity Room and the Northern Lights - all are totally worth it.
