Junction 166 Cafe

This is a Friday morning at 5 am hang out for a bunch of us in breading, from Peco. We love the waitress, she always remembers our drinks and our usual orders, the cook is awesome as well, from our range of breakfast food eaters, burger eaters and pork chop lovers she makes it all and it's always the best. If you have not tried it yet I highly recommend you do.

This place, at best, was mediocre.

This is not to be rude at all but rather a statement of facts.

Fact - this place is without a doubt over-priced. I can say for a surety that the food delivered is not worth what you would pay. Portions are medium, food delivered cold sometimes, taste is sub-par. And, of course, the classic over-priced beverages.

Fact - this place does not have the best service. To elaborate, there was a essence of unprofessionalism exuded from the workers. Secondly, it seems they don't have enough workers, they only had one server who must have been too preoccupied to fill our drinks sooner. She was kind, of course! I just think it could be improved.

Fact - you leave hungry. Whether it be the lack of portions or simply not wanting to eat the sub-par, mediocrity that is the food, you will end up leaving hungry when the point of going to a restaurant is to saitate hunger.

I cannot understand as to how others may have enjoyed this. One thing I know - my experience could have been better.

Our meal cost close to $50 and this is what we were met with - sad.

This place was lovely years ago whenever I partook in breakfast with my family, but that was close to a decade ago. It can be seen that time hasn't been kind to this establishment.

If possible, make improvements.

They have good food with good prices and friendly down home service. One of my favorite places to eat!

Decided to stop for fish Friday. Got there at 10:45 am. Yeah fish should be fresh... it was, so fresh it still swam. Raw, yes the fish was still cold and raw on the inside. The beans were cooked but served cold. Hushpuppies were way to large, just smaller than a baseball... you guessed it, raw on the inside. Next time I want sushi, I will eat Japanese. The best thing I can say is we didn't have to pay for it. The waitress was nice and apologetic.

Pretty good food very nice people in a friendly atmosphere. Menu had everything a cafe needs, and food came out fairly quick even though they were pretty busy. Prices were cheap too. And to top it off they had Coke, not that watered down Pepsi stuff.

Loved it! Staff is super nice, they cook the food after you order, all fresh! A must go place!

I liked it....basic breakfast grill...but nice folks. Want to come back and try the catfish. Pocahontas needs better than fast food joints....and they FINALLY got a restaurant with a bar! The Italian place on the Square. Horrible ambiance in that place...food a kind of joke. The worst wine....but they have cold beer. The dining area lit like a bus station.

We were looking for a good cafe to have breakfast on our trip back home to Texas from Missouri and found this little gem along the way online,, we're glad we found it and will definitely come back on our trips. Good service and good food at fair prices. Definitely recommend this place for a good breakfast if y'all are tired of eating McDonald's and other basic fast food chains.

Junction 166 is the place you go if you want great southern home style breakfast or my favorite prime rib on Friday night. The prime rib is to die for. The service is very friendly. The place is not stuffy or anything fancy but you want to get off work or get up in the morning and have your neighborhood feel go here.

Stopped for breakfast with a large group. Wow what a great speed of delicious food cooked to order. Great waiting staff.2 thumbs up.
