I’d give it 10 stars if I could. The food is absolutely incredible. I got the veggie croissant sandwich and my mind was blown. Not to mention their signature matcha drink with fermented apricot and sparkling water!!! SOOO GOOD! Everything was so balanced and delicious. Super unique and well priced for the area. Will 1000% be back.

Incredible place!
Roo Coffee is located at the most unique place in Silver Lake. Street parking is manageable and since that section of the street is blocked off with giant flower pots no cars are allowed to drive in. It gives the public and chance to feel like they're in Europe and roam around freely. I've been to Brisbane, Australia before and given the fact that the owners are from there the whole cafe has that Aussie vibe, and of course menu.
Steve was the person who greeted me and talk about the best personality! I felt like I had known him for a long time. His approach was extremely genuine and friendly. He recommended I get the salted caramel smoothie along with a famous coffee drink with chocolate shaved on top ( the way Aussies drink it). So of course I went with his recommendations and ordered both. Shortly after both my drinks came out. They were both delicious, as Steve has promised. The smoothie was so decadent yet so light and full of flavor. The coffee with the shaved chocolate on top gave it a nice kick with every sip.
I was told that Roo coffee is known for their delicious food. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed so I didn't get a chance to try it. But fortunately I have more of a reason, as if I needed any more, to go back there again very soon :)

Best coffee shop in Silver Lake. No, the whole east side. No, all of Los Angeles. This coffee shop has become my home. The baristas are like family, the espresso is perfection, the food is scrumptious, and the decor is cheerful and beautifully curated. After we moved to the neighborhood, my boyfriend and I started coming here every morning, and though it’s taken a toll on our bank accounts it always sets our days off on the perfect foot, so it’s worth it. Nothing but positive things to say. Love you, Roo!!

This is, hands down, the best cup of coffee I have EVER had, and I consider myself a coffee connoisseur. My only complaint is that they've ruined coffee at any other place. The care and expertise that these guys use when crafting dishes and drinks is unparalleled. The selection of beans that they use are the best in the biz. Coffee Bean is too sweet. This coffee is PERFECT.
Try it once and you'll take the trip, however far, to make this your everyday coffee stop.

The ladies that run the cafe are the sweetest! It is such cute cafe. All the pink decor & details, the location, outdoor tables and seating make this a great place to enjoy the great weather, while enjoying their delicious menu options. So yummy!

Great coffee and food! More importantly they understand what it means to be part of a community. They are learning all the locals names and I end up having really nice conversation every time I come in. Thanks for making your shop feel like home! Keep up the good work.

I hope Roo continues to succeed in this prime location. One of my favorite coffee shops off Sunset and the staff/owners are WONDERFUL! SO friendly and sweet. The Aussie Cap is my favorite.
