Cubanissimo Cuban Coffee House & Cafe

I love this place! Great food, amazing staff, i eat the food from here often. Best Coffee, sandwiches, maduros, & cheesecake!!

This definitely was NOT a hit with my family. Both the Cubano & Medianoche Sandwiches were ambient temperature on a cold, rainy day. The solidified cheese was the first clue. Yuca fries, 4-5 on the plate, were 'eh, not impressive. The garlic dipping sauce did improve the flavor of both. By the way, if you don't like mustard or pickles, don't order either sandwich. Condiments are what provided additional flavor to an overpriced ham sandwich. Puerto Frito plate was warmer, the yellow rice being the tastiest item. Pork was dry, as well as the Tostones...couldn't tell where the breading stopped and the plantain started. Cuba Libre = overpriced rum & coke. When I visit Havana, I'll let you know if this is indicative of Cuban Cafe Cuisine.

I will go there more often now that I know how good this cafe turned out to be. The flan was noteworthy. Not bland or too sweet.

I have been very impressed with Cubanisimo so far. I can only speak for their beverages and customer sevice at this time. I have tried a blended drink, latte, and a cuban specialty coffee. All of which have been great. The staff is always friendly and happy to make any recommendations. I can't wait to try their guava mimosas and breakfast! Very cute atmosphere as well.

Black Beans and Rice with a side of Maduros were very good .....like homemade Good!

Being from the east coast, I was super reluctant on what the food quality was going to be out here in the West Coast for Cuban standards. However, after trying this establishment's food I am highly impress. Cubanissimo brings the sazon, authenticity and vibe of any good Cuban restaurants out there. Def a must try especially if you have cravings like me!

I come here every week because their espresso is the best I have had. Recently they ran out of the smaller 16 ounce iced cups. I have tried the larger size in the past and the proportions are just not as good as the smaller size. They refused to try to make the smaller size in the bigger cup, and they refused to sell me a cup with ice so I could pour the smaller hot drink into a cup with ice. I honestly can’t believe how rude the woman who made my drink was. Would not try to work with me at all just take it or leave. These drinks are 6-7$ so they are not cheap either and I always tip. I was a barista in the past and I understand that sometimes you can’t do everything a customer asks but they wouldn’t even sell me a cup with ice and a lid.
