Omg such an adorable coffee spot... tucked back into a courtyard with a fountain none the less! Five starts on atmosphere for sure (not to mention that you can follow your nose from the street very easily, you cant missthat alluring coffee scent). The seasonal maple coffe was amazing and the staff was very nice helping my kiddo get his drink just right. Will go back again!

I will need to break down my rating like this:
Beverages: 5/5
Baristas: 5/5
Owner/Management: -5/5
The beverages are tasty and the baristas are some of the friendliest, most excellent workers.
Everything about the place is great, except that the owner/management thinks that it's okay to zero out the tip for Instacart shoppers delivering items 20 miles away from Costco in Folsom, even while the price of gas is so expensive. Yes, some of the food items are from Costco and resold here, which is perfectly fine as the coffee is what keeps people coming here anyway. Regardless, this is complete disrespectful from the owner/management considering the shoppers are working for nearly free and rely heavily on tips.

I have been here twice and have had a great experience both times. The baristas are very friendly and helpful. Their iced lavender roobios tea is amazing, but it's their coconut chia seed pudding that is a must try. They top it off with granola, fresh fruit and a little drizzle of honey. So yummy! The location is tucked away from Main Street, so it's quiet. Sometimes they have a local band that plays in the courtyard. Highly recommend going here for a coffee break!

Totem Coffee is a hidden paradise in historic downtown Placerville. With delicious vegan and gluten free options, and Kombucha on tap, you will want to bring a book and stay a while! I devoured their vegan GF chocolate chip peppermint donut along with a vanilla oat milk latte. Then I tried a refreshing cup of their vanilla pine kombucha (thank you for the awesome paper straw!). I forgot to take a pic of their yummy eats, but I recall they had a vegan falafel dish and a black bean patty with avocado yogurt. I will definitely come back to try those!

Friendly, dedicated staff will introduce you to a comprehensive menu full of options for all taste, very high quality products and cozy atmosphere.
Option to sit outside in a lovely patio with a flowing fountain. Very very nice spot.
Good job.

The sign on the street says "Totem Coffee", don't be fooled they just changed the name and MGMT. This place is a gem. I walked in and the muffins were just coming out of the oven. Damn fine coffee. Staff rocks.

I've been here twice, and both visits have been wonderful. The baristas are really welcoming and accommodating. Their coconut chia seed pudding is a must-try, even though their iced lavender roobios tea is fantastic. Granola, fruit, and a thin layer of honey are sprinkled on top. So tasty! The area is peaceful because it is hidden away from Main Street. On occasion, a neighborhood band performs in the courtyard. I firmly advise taking a coffee break here!

First time in Placerville and this is where we got breakfast to fuel us for our 1st day at Dry Diggings! Amazing breaky, tasty teas and a peaceful ambiance! Thanks, Totem! Hope to drop by again.

Fresh donuts & muffins still hot from the oven, delicious coffee, very upbeat and kind staff. You won’t be disappointed. A lovely spot to start your day!

Very cute, unique coffee shop. Love the outdoor courtyard setting it has. My favorite is Honey, Lavender Latte. Staff is friendly.
