I've been there many times. The food is incredibly delicious. I love it, love it. The staff are always so nice and knowledgeable and friendly. Go there you won't be disappointed.

Atmosphere is delightful, and the striped bass with risotto is perfect blend of taste and texture. Just two good beers, but an amazing wine selection. Pleasant and professional staff, all around great experience.

Great restaurant and food for a special night out. For my visit, they ran out of scallops and lobster (staples that should be on the seafood restaurant offering in my mind) and the restaurant had just opened. It is a bit steep in price, drinks are great and atmosphere is cozy. Go if you want mid-upscale experience and a night that will be fondly remembered.

I came here almost spontaneously after passing by lots of times. Is a great place to go with friends or family, since there are big tables available. I've been craving something soupy and warm, so I ordered the seafood stew, which was a good choice, served in a big bowl and paired with crispy bread.
Hubby had the catch of the day, served over puree. Looked and tasted delicious!
Our server was nice and quick but didn't pay attention to our table and forgot to bring an iced tea we ordered at the beginning. This place also falls on the pricey side considering that the food is good but not wonderful... The atmosphere was nice, though.

Catch is a nice restaurant located in the heart of the Castro. It's a fun place to grab a drink and feel like you're eating at an upscale restaurant. Although it's not overly expensive the prices creep up on you, but the food is well worth it.
Be sure to grab a drink from their extensive list, whether it's wine or booze you're after. The Room outside the main restaurant but still within an enclosed plastic overhang is nice. You sit close to a fire and watch the people walk by. It's a neat a beautiful space. Check it out for yourself.

First time visiting this restaurant. Calamari was recommended by previous reviewers, wasn't disappointed. My friend had the mushroom risotto and I had butternut squash risotto. The mushroom risotto was rich and flavorful, the butternut squash was light and taste very fresh. Will try to venture back to try other dishes.

Consistently great food, great service and an easy location. It's one of those places that has servers working there for years (always a great sign of quality), and is always consistently busy (another great sign).
My only suggestion for them: when I book on OpenTable, the restaurant should text people to confirm their reservation rather than call. I'm a busy professional and don't have time to retrieve voicemails and call you back. Super annoying. This could be a huge time savings for the restaurant and the guests.
Otherwise, I'm a big fan!

Wonderful seafood and atmosphere. The cod was phenomenal! We also had raw oysters and lobster tacos. Everything was excellent. We sat on the patio next to the fireplace. Also had the steak. It was good, but I recommend you get seafood!

Bang on! Staying in Castro for a couple of days, it was recommended by the bar keep from twin peaks and he couldn't have been more correct if he tried. We started off with scallops and the crap stuffed artichoke with was delicious. I had the mixed seafood grill with beans and chorizo and she had the fish of day with greens and asparagus. It was one of the best meals we have haved in a while and would love to come back here on a regular occasion, but sadly we are 5000 miles away in London. Service was OK. Avoid the heated seating area by the open window (it gets to hot), sit by the fire where it's cooler!!

Really cozy restaurant with some of the best seafood in San Francisco. We were given the best seat in the house by the fireplace and the ambience was just lovely. The paella was amazing and just trust the server on his recommendations. He knows his stuff.
