Delicious coffee! Try the Snowy Mocha with Oat Milk. I love Starbucks, but during my entire trip in California I only went to The Human Bean. I wish they were located in Chicago/Indiana.

Best cup of coffee in North County! It was recommended to me from a passenger and I've been a few times since she told me about it! It definitely gives you the hype you need all day with the 4 shots of Espresso in the mocha drinks. I've had the Mexi-Mocha both hot and cold and the Snowy Mocha once. The Mexi is definitely my favorite so far! Unfortunately no Military discount but still a great cup of coffee either way.

Friendly and professional staff. Excellent drinks! I love their frozen hot chocolate beverage! More yummy reviews with photos to come! Give them a try...you will not be disappointed!

I had been going here nearly daily for a while now, I ordered the same drink I always do and drove away, took a few sips and had a mouthful of gelatin, 100% curdled milk, have had the displeasure of tasting this before. Anyways, I called the store to let them know they are serving customers rotten milk. After 3 attempts I received a call back from the owner bob. I explained what happened as I became more and more sick to my stomach, he told me it’s completely normal, healthy curdled milk product that in no way could make you sick…he repeats this multiple times as I am actually becoming sick and audibly throwing up during the conversation. He tells me he is paralyzed and in a wheelchair….um that’s irrelevant as far as I’m concerned, he says he will give me a replacement but not any money. I told him I’m looking to help your store not make anyone else sick, not a handout. He said I can call the health department on him and they will say the same thing, he’s been in the food business for 30 years etc. He was very rude and aggressive. Too bad, I had good experiences at that establishment until this morning. And the way the OWNER handled the situation was astonishing. I will not be returning. You’re a rude, unapologetic business owner bob. Update, I did not demand you to meet me immediately bob, I asked when you could meet me and you said tomorrow, I said what time and then you went on to explain that you are in a chair. Also I’m not talking about a little chunk that formed on the top like a skin. This was CHUNKY and I chewed it…the bitterness of curdled milk stuck in my teeth until I got home to the relief of my toothbrush, I saved the drink for you bob, it’s in my fridge, if you still want to meet please let me know. Again this was not a normal amount of skin from milk, this was a 20oz Iced Irish cream breve stew. A hefty sour meal that could be eaten with a fork. I love coffee bob, it’s going to be a while before I can stomach another iced coffee. So for you to tell me that it’s impossible for curdled milk to make someone ill, while I am physically ill is pretty comical to say the least.

Horrible customer service each time I've been there the employees always have an additude and last time for got one of my drinks and when I came back for it they said I was lieing I wasn't it was just right before closing is why I didn't come right back when I noticed it. I went back next day and they said I'm lieing and don't ever come back here again... I said wow that's so messed up because human Bean is my fav and I get 34 dollars worth of drinks like 2 times a week. I'd say I'ma a very good customer. But anyways horrible customer service and the owner is completely disrespectful and rude

Great service and convenient location. Just ordered coffee, but they have a multitude of drink options. The coffee was hot and smooth and sightly bold, just a really good cup of coffee to get you going. On site parking and drive thru options.

My absolute favorite coffee place. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, they use local products whenever available, and donate to local organizations.
Their ingredients are delicious and every time I try something new I am delighted. I have gotten several staff favorite drinks based on recommendations and never had a bad drink. Absolutely recommend!

Small little dive though with a variety of options.
The service was fast, the coffee was good and had some breakfast sandwich that was also pretty tasty.

Coffee is good, typical ridiculous pricing for a coffee... you get a bean though. Service at the Templeton location is not great. Zero personality, not friendly - weird vibe here.

Great drive-thru coffee on the way between SC and LA if you want an alternative to starbucks. They go a little bit extra for customers while being speedy and no-nonsense. Go here instead and swing back onto the road better for it! Grab a muffin top with unsweetened coffee--just as it sounds, the best part of a sweet, fluffy muffin!
