Every time we are in LA we always end up stopping here at least once. The Mexican Mocha is very good with just the right amount of cayenne. The food here is also good at any time of day. The breakfast parfait is delicious and the French toast with fresh berries and fresh whip cream is worth the trip. Has a strong organic menu and compostable coffee cups. A great scene filled with a mix of yogis, people working, lively music and dogs. Indoor and outdoor seating too.

Giving three stars because in 2020 in a city like LA, I was hella disappointed to receive my coffee and avo toast not in a mug or on a plate but in a throwaway cup and in a to go container that included plastic. I didn’t ask for any of my items to go. I wasn’t asked if I was eating in or taking away. It was just assumed that I was and that’s not ok with me nor should it be the standard these days. We have to do better for the planet than that. However, my chai was great and the avo toast was solid (just go a little lighter on the chili oil!) so taste wise, solid 4.5 stars. And I like the atmosphere of this Groundwork + the location.

Edit. Tyler is at the other store now but he's still awesome. And so is the coffee.

I've come here to say that Tyler is the most realest, most kindest human i could wanna get my coffee from. He goes above and beyond his job and I'm grateful. Thank you Tyler.

Top 5 breakfast burritos I’ve had in Los Angeles. There nitro cold brew is out of this world.

Every time I’ve been there, the staff has always been nice!

The service was great and fast. But the drink was average. My fault for ordering a tea with whole milk at a coffee shop.

My wife had the avo and eggs, I had the vegan burrito. We both loved our food. The service was really fast and the coffee was ready by the time my credit card cleared. Awesome.

Rude service. Cashier more interested on his phone than working. Worst flat white in a long time. Expensive. Look at the foam on the picture.

Coffee and pastry at this Groundwork are a nice treat. The outdoor seating area is enormous... largest in LA!

Great coffee and good vibes. The coffee here was delicious and smooth while not being too sweet. I had a mocha and the foam was excellent as well as the serving temperature. Love the building and modern furnishings inside.
