Higher Grounds Coffee

What a pleasant surprise! Stopped for a coffee and a bite to eat on our way through Pagosa. Everything we had was better than expected. I will be back anytime I am in town!

I really enjoyed the coffee shop! Will definitely come back if I get the chance!

Had a good spinach/Greek salad and decaf for lunch. Yummy, but needed more dressing. I take a star off because the parking is always tight for a big truck. Had to walk a couple blocks. Otherwise, it's a great coffee shop. Has a great, unique collection of mugs and such for sale.

Nice little coffee shop, first time there. Friendly staff, a decent amount of outside and inside seating. Good cup of Joe, I would,go back for sure. Not overly packed which I really appreciate.

It’s okay.
The latte I ordered was watery, didn’t have enough milk and had bits of ground espresso in it. Maybe it was just a fluke but not sure if i’ll try again.

Amazing coffee. We spent a fair amount of time relaxing as well. The staff was super friendly, and again, the coffee was the best I’ve had in a while. Even my partner, who doesn’t like coffee too much, enjoyed their drink. Highly recommended.

The coffee is fine and the food is good. Prepare for a $4 up charge on anything gluten free and extremely slow internet. We tried to work for a few hours and even checking email was a challenge.

Came here two days in a row while on a weekend getaway with my boyfriend. The first day everything was perfect. However the second day was completely inconsistent and somehow nearly $2 more than what we paid the day before for the EXACT same order. It wasn’t until we were in the car as well driving away that we opened up our food and noticed they gave us a totally wrong bagel and put the tiniest amount of cream cheese in it. Super disappointing. I got a strawberry matcha and it did not taste at all like the drink from the day before. Different baristas so maybe the one from the day before was more skilled. Hit or miss establishment, but not worth the money on the miss.

Delicious coffee and smoothies. Lots of menu options. The staff was friendly and fast. Nice little shop to stop at.

Coffee variety and flavour was great, the smothered sausage burrito was huge and delicious. Good variety of baked goods that looked fresh and moist. Staff were working great and were friendly. Outdoor seating. Parking lot was busy, tight, and one-way. Overall a great place, glad we stopped.
