Staff were really great and nice on a slow afternoon but the food was terrible and overpriced. I ordered the house Popeye sandwich thinking I couldn't go wrong with some fried chicken. However, the sandwich came out with no garnishes, the meat was basically reheated frozen chicken tenders, and on the dry bun was barely enough mayo to cover half (less than a tablespoon!). It was so dry I had a hard time eating it, but I was hungry and determined so down the hatch it went. The parking lot was also very tight and a bit of a nightmare when coming in even though the restaurant was quite slow. Again, the staff were very nice and attentive, but the quality of the food made it so I won't be back.

Found this amazing little gem in Branford. We will be back. Three of us got the grilled cheese, tomato soup, and 2 opted for side salad, one opted for delicious hand cut fries. I’m not a Brie fan and they graciously changed mine to cheddar. We all agreed it was really tasty. One person got the salad with quinoa and loved it. The wait staff was a very professional and friendly young lady and the hostess was very nice and seated us promptly. Can’t wait to try more options, but going to save room next time because desserts sounded really good too.

Home is a "go to" spot for us. The food and service are always great, and the kids love the living room!

The service was excellent. Absolutely attentive, fast, team oriented (so you're not waiting for just one person). You can also easily make reservations via OpenTable on their website. The menu seems to change every so often, and we hit a brand new menu. I wasn't brave enough to try any of the large entrees, which seemed very chic (I'm too safe for things I'm not sure I'll like that sound "fancy"). It's an interesting mix of food... We got a hot dog and fries, Popeye's style chicken sandwich, patty melt, and a Mac and cheese mixed with ground beef. All were delicious. We also tried teriyaki meatballs as an appetizer, with fries (both great) and fried dough chips (the only food "miss" we had... Little bland). For dessert, it was a mixed bag - chocolate mousse cake, and cookies with whipped cream (both great), and canolli egg rolls, and a marshmallow and potato chip brownie (both so-so). Overall, we really liked the experience. We tried some new things, and most were great, our server was excellent, it was fast paced, and a good atmosphere.

This is my favorite place to eat in Branford. Constantly changing menu by an amazing chef who doesn't mind mixing up recipes with great results. They also carry in state brewed beer supporting local businesses! I would go more often if I lived closer!

Just left Home Restaurant in Branford. It was delicious with such a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent ! Nice home cooked entrees we had very good apps, fried dough chips with ricotta and sauce and delicious homemade hummus. Our burgers were so tender and the sauce on my patty burger was so good. A choice of sides. Everyone, 7 of us, had great meals. Will be going back. And if your a vegetarian the chili was excellent!

Homey indeed, as it's name implies. They have an entire GLUTEN FREE menu for all you other folk with allergies like me. It's awesome. The chicken-curry tacos are fire, so is the Irish coffee. Definitely a place to revisit.

Great food with a seasonal menu, local ingredients, and a dedicated gluten free menu. The chef, owners, and staff are phenomenal and will go out of their way to work around any restrictions you may have.

Very jazzy interior which can be a bit dark sometimes, try to sit near the front of the restaurant for faster service - the back room gets a bit forgotten at times.

Large portions, often a bit “heavy”. Great fries with even better sauces.

Great food. Unique flavors in a homestyle fashion. Owner and staff are outstanding. Local flavors and amazing drinks. One of the best spots in Branford and well beyond. Cheers!
