Cool place with unusual and delicious food pairings! Delightful. Would have never thought of Brie with avocado with Turkey and now I can't imagine how I've lived this long without it!

Cafe mocha, cappuccino, smoked salmon on a bagel, bacon, egg and cheese burrito. All the drinks and food fresh made. Salsa very nice with burrito. Little noisy inside. Sat outside and enjoyed the weather.

First of all, this Cafe is located next to a nice used bookstore, which is awesome. My friend recommended that I try the Grits Bowl (pictured) aka The Downtown Mess. They now offer multiple types, but I just know the Augusta style is so good. I no longer live in the area, but I still think about the grits bowl. I was just passing through, so I made a detour to get it. Sometimes they run out of grits by the end of the day, so you might want to call to make sure they have it. The staff is always nice and helpful. Once, they took a while to bring our soup, but then they gave us a delicious cookie. I also like that they have outdoor seating.

Edit from 5 stars. ‘Garcia’ sandwich fans beware. They’ve change the cheese without changing the name of the sandwich. I’ve always ordered the Garcia and thoroughly enjoyed it— mainly for the Brie. So I ordered it expecting to get the same thing — why would expect otherwise?? Instead it came out with Muenster cheese 🤮 When I asked about it, thinking they gave me someone else’s order, I was told “we don’t have Brie anymore”.
I would suggest to NewMoon that they change the name of the sandwich because it’s not the same taste.
At least the caramel frap was still good.

The coffee, drinks, and food are all generally good and I enjoy going (regularly get coffee, use their $1/coffee program, etc).
However, their hours are terrible for a coffeeshop and for a cafe. Opening at 8 AM which means nobody who wants coffee before work can get anything, and closed by 3 makes it impossible to grab a late lunch (currently writing this after trying to get a coffee at 3:15 and being turned away)

Food was good, just disappointed that it took about an hour to get simple breakfast dishes. By the time I had my dish my cappuccino was cold. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you are going there as a group, you won’t be eating at the same time.

A local restaurant with a handful of custom made drinks but an otherwise fairly unremarkable menu. I ordered just an orange juice here at a fresh squeezed price, but what I got was basically a tiny juice box. Not very happy but the fault was mine for not paying attention.

Delicious food. I will definitely come back.

Fab place, really relaxed atmosphere absolutely wonderful coffee, you can tell it's roasted with care. The staff are very attentive and kind. I can see why they have been going for 21years, thanks for the lovely experience guys. Didn't try the food (except for the cinnamon roll which was delicious), however it looked great being delivered to the table next door. Came here with two little ones and the soft lighting really helped calm them down as well as all the interesting art on the walls.

Cafe is really a coffee house. Breakfast was horrible. I had the lumberjack. Bacon was paper thin, did not receive sausage ordered, eggs looked and tasted like instant eggs. No table server, you clean off your own table and return plate.
