Warm and friendly café. Variety of foods and drinks to eat in or take away.

We stayed near by for a week and came here 3 times for breakfast, we loved it! The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast and coffee were delicious. I’ll be dreaming about the pesto breakfast sandwich (add bacon) for a long time!

Strong coffee. I really enjoyed the skillet breakfast with sausage, potatoes, and eggs. Very hospitable and attentive staff.

Always delicious food and drinks here. The thai tea is always great, and any breakfast food I get is incredible.

I really like the coffee and smoothies here. Service is always friendly, but usually slow. Worth the wait, but don't expect to be in and out quick. Prices are a little high, but not overpriced for the island.

Great friendly welcoming local family owned coffee shop. They offer real tasty biscuits and gravy, avo toast, breakfast burritos, and soup of the day. Coffee Grinds is really a cant miss hole in the wall spot if you driving from kona to southpoint. It is so filling of needed tasty food and coffee drinks for an adventure.

Food smelled amazing. Seems to be very friendly. Only tried brewed coffee, so I am biased. But it was the 2nd worst coffee I tried. It tasted like they haven't properly cleaned the coffee machine for good 3 months.

This stop is in a small stripmall behind the gas station in Ocean View. The staff are super friendly and there is a plentiful menu of coffees and breakfast foods. We enjoyed a warm scone and a large local coffee (Ka'u variety, $5). In the morning there is no shaded seating outside as it faces south. A good stop on the way to the National Park or Hilo.

A wonderful experience for breakfast!! A must have!

I made a quick stop today on my way to Hilo. Friendly staff, good scone and good coffee. My experience was short but good. the place looked clean and has table indoor and outdoor.
