The Black Cow Cafe and Mercantile

Absolutely fantastic. The staff is unbelievably friendly and the sandwiches are stacked with meat. I kid you not, 2 or 3 inches worth of meat is stacked in between two big slices of bread. It's my only way to have a sandwich now.

I have ordered their cackle and berry salad several times. 1st time I loved it, it had moist grilled chicken and a lot of it. The next 2 times I've ordered it they subbed the chicken with sandwich turkey meat. It wasn't nearly as good and I wasn't asked if that substitution was ok. Not enough to not visit again, but I would clarify. Also staff and most of the patrons aren't wearing masks and its a pretty crowded place so if that's an issue for you now you know.

I had two different experiences here had breakfast and dined in that was not so good three out of four orders had issues. Then I had a takeout sandwich was outstanding

Finding places to eat in Fruitland is really difficult as there is only a few options. This restaurant recently opened and I watched as it went from a small inconspicuous little building with a few cars to a place where the parking lot was full and people were parking on the street. This peaked my interest to say the least. So I pulled in one day and wandered inside. The smells were intoxicating and there was surprisingly a large variety of options. It took me a while to decide what I wanted and when my food was handed to me I was shocked at the weight of my order. So I left and drove home and when I finally sat down to eat I was blown away. The food here is AMAZING! I only wish Google had the option to rate things higher than 5 stars because this place needs to have its own star on the map.... yet part of me wants to keep it a secret so that I can come here whenever I want and not have to wait. So if you're reading this make sure you come and try out some incredible food at great prices.

Omg first time today. Ordered the Beast of Burden for wife and Triple Porked for myself. Delicious huge sandwiches highly recommend

Talk about bang for the buck! Huge sandwiches! But they're sure are delicious! Always order to go or had it brought to me for lunch but sat down inside for the first time & thought it was nice to sit in!
