I googled "dog friendly coffee shops near me", Peets coffee on Main was listed. When we went out of our way to visit with our dog, we were told only Service Animals are allowed. Well, service dogs are welcomed anywhere by law. When I told them of the post on "dog friendly coffee shops" they were very rude.

Best coffee shop in the area. The manager, Mike, and his staff are super friendly and helpful. We love coffee and this location brews up some of the best.

Best Caramel Machiatto I've ever had. Baristas are exceptionally welcoming and warm. Helped me choose a drink that suited my taste well. Definitely will come back next time I am local!

This was my second time at Peet’s but the first time was in Naperville. Naperville left me thinking I’d never go to Pete’s again but this location was the opposite. The staff was extremely friendly. A special thank you to Kary, who was the barista helping me, for making this a great visit. Will definitely be back

It was my first time here, and the staff was really nice and helpful! During the hour that I visited, there were plenty of places to sit in a warm and inviting setting. Wonderful spot!
P.S. Finding parking is a hassle.

Through no fault of their own, electricity went out. Barista Matt could still whip up a mocha latte but oven couldn't produce their yummy frittata. Oatmeal cookie was a sound substitute.

Peet's is what that huge green and white coffee chain used to be. Higher quality, better tasting, innovative blends. Excellent service. Definitely preferred!

Excellent staff, tasty coffee and food, and great location for anyone south of the tracks. If I didn't tend to receive my order almost before I'm finished paying, I'd complain that it tends to be too crowded.

While neither an independent coffee shop nor a local roaster, this is still the best shop in town for quality beans and tasty treats. Bring in your own coffee cup for a slight discount and grab a seat by the window to watch the shoppers stroll by and the trains roll by. If you’re hungry, try the waffle sandwich for breakfast, the lentil snack, or the turkey sandwich for lunch. If you want a serious jolt of energy, get a coffee javiva with an extra shot.

I walked in to find several customers standing around looking confused and two baristas standing around doing nothing while another grumpy one banged on large metal cans filling coffee makers. I moved to the front to get to order but nobody came to help. I was in clear view but then skipped over for a more recent customer. I left and went across the tracks and was helped mediately at their competitor's store.
This experience left me furious and to me, represents extremely poor management. It will be a long time before I enter another Peet's!
