Scooter's Coffee

Every time I visit my family in West Des Moines, I stop for a daily iced sugar free vanilla almond milk latte. The coffee flavor is smooth and delicious. Their menu is extensive, offering sugar free flavors as well as milk alternatives. I haven't tried anything else from their menu yet, but my sister always gets their Carmelicious Blender and raves about it.

Drinks can be customized easily, and their staff are polite. I can't say anything about the baked goods and breakfast items since I haven't ordered any yet. Maybe on my next visit.

I have been frequenting Scooters only during the pandemic, and have only gone through the drive thru. I believe their dining area is now open.

I don't usually rate chain shops like Scooter's because they don't need my help advertising. But this is a nice spot to meet others, study, or relax and enjoy a nice coffee or tea. It's a nice and clean coffee shop in a strip mall. Enjoy!

I recommend the Iced turtle. It's really good, sweet and chocolatie.

Quick and easy to get in and go and with the new app it was easy to pay and the girl working helped us pick a great drink for my husband and I!!

Great coffee and fast service. Prefer it to other big coffee chains.

It appears as if I'm not the first person coming to write a review about the rude staff. I'm not a picky coffee drinker, I just came in to get a couple coffee and an iced drink. The iced drink was on the website but the employee said he would not make it, he would only make a hot or blended version. It was a very simple drink, there's no reason he couldn't have poured it over ice. I changed my order. This was an annoyance but not the nature of my complaint. This person was just in general very smug and unpleasant. Sorry, but you don't get to be a smug barista when you work at a chain called 'Scooters'. The icing on the cake was when he called out my order for my 3 drinks and there were only 2. I politely asked where the other was and got attitude for expecting all of my order. NOTE: There was one other person in the store at the time and they were about done with their drink. This person was not under pressure.

I LOVE scooters. I always get a blended hazelnut cappuccino. They taste great but service is always slow which is why they only get 4 stars sometimes it's so slow they deserve 3. I have actually left multiple times because I needed to go to work and waited over 20 minutes once because I couldn't get out of the drive through lane.

Has a nice little conference room for getting some meetings done with some good drinks and good location with friendly staff.

The service at the drive thru is awful. I've sat there for 5-10+ minutes without hearing anything at all, multiple times.
The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because I've only had my order (when I can order) messed up twice, which is better than most other scooters.

My drink smelled and tasted rotten, despite being a smoothie, not sure how it got messed up so bad, and this is the only location I've ever gotten bad drinks from.
